Thanks for your replies. I think google should have made a neater theme system, where you could change stuff like icons, backgrounds etc. on a higher level without messing with the core system files...
 
Thanks jakax. Due to this mod, I found that SetCPU was lagging my phone due to some settings.

Reaching 4.7MFLOPS in Linpack, can't say how faster other applications perform, since I ain't a machine :) It does seem to work though,

Just updated Galaxo 1.6.3.3 on my Galaxy i7500L.

Worked like a dream. Just had to apply patch, delete Launcher.odex, then I applied the new ADW launcher from Downloads | Android Codex

no difference in graphics FPS, but CPU benchmark increased a bit
2896ms @ 710MHz
2542ms @ 710MHz w/ JIT

Thanks, works like a charm! Managed to get 4.908 on linpack after xx attempts, anyone gotten above 5 somehow? :p
 
Donut does have a working camera. Froyo, so far no. If you are having problems with the donut camera, install another app, like Camera Magic or Camera360. It worked for me.

-The second Version (non flashable) of your file got about 7k hits too.

 
hi,
i tried to install this dalvik onto galaxo 1.6.3.3 but i'm getting less than 1 on linpack.

To install i did the following operations:
1) boot into recovery and wipe
2) flash galaxo 1.6.3.3
3) restore g.apps
4) deleted launcher.odex and reboot
5) reboot in recovery
6) fix permission
7) flash jit_by_jakax.zip
8) reboot

Where i'm wrong?

It's due to the scalling rate

before trying a benchmark
overclock the min freq to 710 ( with overclock widget or other apps like that )
don't forget to downclock after the bench
 
@infect after installing JIT, applied DarkSense2.0_Advanced-Standard theme and after rebooting it is struck at infinite boot screen animation??? deleted launcher.odex also.. any more steps should be followed?????
 
I tried pushing the files to /system, but it keeps hanging at testgps.odex
Anyone else having this problem? Or should I just wait longer? I wait for about 5 minutes now.
