Hi there- first post to the forum. Hello all.
Yesterday I picked up my mobile and it said 'damaged SD card' and that I had to reformat it. After taking it out various times, wiping the chip etc. it still was damaged so I formatted it through the phone as instructed by on-screen instructions. It seems to be working okay now although obviously I lost all the data on it.
Whilst it was 'damaged' when I went on the application menu some of the applications icon's were greyed out with an SD icon covering the logo. When clicking on them it said 'this application is not installed'.
Now that it is working again, the apps remain like that. Having reinstalled them from the market, new applications have appeared so I have various duplicate apps in the menu, one of which is greyed out.
In addition to this, there are various 'spaces' in my application menu. An empty space where an application icon should be. It is not a dissappeared icon as such- its just that an empty space has been created and all icons shifted along one.
I hope this makes sense.
Does anybody have any advice?
Thank you.
