Help Damaged?

Hi all, I recently dropped my phone in some cold hot chocolate
It was an accident obviously. The phone wasnt submerged, the bottom bit of the phone went in for about 1 second literally, it didnt even reach the screen but probably got to the main button. I dried it immediately and it was ok for a while then it ran out of battery and at first wouldn't recognise when the usb was plugged in. It went ok again and now it's gone crazy. It keeps doing loadsa stuff on its own such as bringing up the voice command app "what would you like to do?", turning driving mode on and off randomly, creating new homepages etc.
It does this for about 20 mins then goes normal again. I dont have insurance or anything but ive only had the phone like 5 weeks. Anyone have an idea of what to do?

There is residue of the drink in the bottom portion of your phone that is messing things up.

Since the phone seems to work well, other than the intermittent freaking out and since you have no insurance, if it were me, I would bring it to a service centre and have them clean it out. It should solve the issue.

you could lick the chocolate off , I am so sorry but I could not help myself.

If it were me I would go for the cleaning route first as Xerses suggested and after that if it didn't help you get on with opening the phone and messing with the interior.
