Help Damn capital I in it's!

PazPez

Newbie
Hi,

When I'm writing an email or text with my Desire, if I want to write the word "it's" it always autocorrects to "It's" (with a capital i). It does this all the time, even when I'm in the middle of a sentence.

I can't figure out how to make it autocorrect to use a lower case i. It only does this with this one word.

I've tried going to Settings>Language&Keyboard>Touch Input>User Dictionary and editing the word to have a lower case i and also deleting the word and re-adding it, but it still comes out uppercase all the time!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Doesn't happen for me.
It shouldn't be in the user dictionary, perhaps you could try deleting it?

it happens for me if it isn't seeing "it's" as a whole word. Say if I have already selected "I" or go back and an the "I"
