Help Dark Search Field Problem

[wimbley]

I have a problem with the search field that's really starting to bug me. Whenever I go to search - in Market, Maps, Internet, so on - the search box never turns white. I'm using the standard "Slate" skin, so I end up with black text on a dark grey background. It's kind of annoying, so if anyone can help, that'd be fantastic.

Running Android 2.3.5 on an HTC Wildfire S.

Welcome to the forums!

I've moved your post here to the Wildfire S support area - hopefully other owners of your phone can pitch in with some tips.

Thanks. I wasn't sure where the best place to post it was.

So, does anyone have any info?
