Help Das Bamf and Contacts

I am having issues with contacts after Das Bamf 1.6.4
They are there and they sync fine. The problem is adding a new contact.

I go to my contact icon. Hit menu on phone. Then add contact. It asks where. I choose back up assistant. ( what i use)
I enter the info and click done.

The contact is never there. I sync it to make sure. Nothing.
I have to go to Verizon site and add the contact then sync the phone to get it to show up.

Is this a known problem? I can not see anything on the site.

Doesnt BAMF remove backup assistant? I think there is a separate add on package to add it back in.. Also why not just use google?

Your contacts are saved to your google email account you sign in to on the phone. Go under accounts and sync and click your google account and you should see a sync contacts.

I added the backup assistant zip. But i will try Google.
