Root Data/ 3G is constantly losing connectivity.

My phone started acting up again, and I ask if someone please help me..
ISSUE: My 3g or 1x(data) will pop up and then go away for minutes at a time like 15,10,7mins. And it gets aggrivating because I'm and avid user of my admire.
The only modifacations I have done to my phone is
1.Root
2.Removed BloatWare
3. Did a 3G boost through QPST from a guide on here.
If you need more information to help me thoroughly, please ask. this needs to stop.

This has been happening to me since Yesterday, like it will be on for 5 Minutes and go away for an hour or more. I think The Data Service is down but I can't guarentee it. They need to fix this issue because I also did a PRL update , it was successful but it didn't do anything after.
 
Has anyone tried the *228 PRL update? I know it might make the problem worse or fix it, mainly because it's either PRL 0318 or 0319. Not 0326. I'm gonna try it and post back if I run into any problems.
 
I lied, there updating PRL's. I just did it, and it's PRL 0327. Although, I still have no 3G. I think there working on improving 3G again. Oh, wait.. Nevermind, 3G's back up. Full service, everywhere in my house :D I used to only have 1 or 2 bars inside.

*** Still full bars, but my 3G's gone again.

I was having issues with network connection also started 2 days ago until today. I updated lastnight using *228 and it was still messing up. Today did it again it started working fine doing *228. I am rooted/simple ip/ running admiral beast.

3G works fine, a little faster movement on surfing, have not used much network thought.
 
I mentioned this issue under the Prl3027 thread under Samsung Admire general. Wat seemed to fix my issue was going to Settings/Wireless & Networks/Mobile Network/System select/ Metro pcs only.

I haven't lost my 3g data in all day since doing so.

Happened to me also. I just changed it back to mob ip after trying *228 a couple times to no avail. It works consistent once i switched back to mob ip but of course with the loss of speed.

Just tried it again on simp ip and when it does work its actually slower than mob ip on speed test
 
I talked to Tech Support, there working on 3G/ data Service improvements. For now my 3G has been stable. Full speed too.
 
I've also been experiencing my 3g going AWOL, but for only a few minutes at a time. Just updated to 3027 and no improvement over 3026 results. But if they are indeed going about updating the 3g service throughout their system it may take more than a couple of days before things stabilize.
 
It's working for me. I'm running PRL 3027. I think it was a network issue because ALL my Text Messages, and I mean ALL were coming in late last night.
 
I actually went into a MetroPCS yesterday and told them the situation that the phone loses data and reconnects sometimes
She said that it's the actual phone model; That A LOT of people have been coming in with the issue and all they can really do is "refresh" the phone, or take it to a corporate store and have them "check it out"
So not too sure on what this all means, and honestly I don't think she even knows what she means.
But as far as i have been told it is a phone problem
 
So did metro ever fix this issue? My service is horribly unstable. The only way I get 3g is after making a phone call. I mean I'm running beast and have 3027 prl. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix it, or just wait until metro gets it up and ruining again. I've didn't have this problem until people started posting in this thread.
 
I live in downtown dallas TX I'm running 2.3.4 stock with bloatware removed and my build.prop updated with the Speedtweaks from this forum. I was having major connectivity issues the last two days so I did a PRL update using *228. My PRL is now 3027. I have not only been having data glitches but I also noticed that my download speed has dramatically decreased. Even when connected to Wifi. Although my phones mobile svc has improved. Im going to attempt to use qpst to play around with diffrent PRL's however I first need to find qpst for MAC Osx . Since my PCs logicrap wireless keyboard decided to stop working after I stepped on it during a crazy guitar jam session. I read online metro pcs was capping their data on streaming sites and blocking certain content in general ( I wonder if these glitches are due to that in an attempt to get us under the impression our phones are shitty so we are then manipulated into shelling out more money to upgrade to a 4g phone) Also I have another weird peice of evidence. Today after speaking with a family member who recently switched to verizon , I decided to visit their website to check out pricing/plans/phones. whenever I type verizon on Google search, the link to their offical site comes up. If you click it your automatically redirected to the verizon mobile site. But its blocked. The page displays the standard dolphin browser page notifying you the website your attempting to access is invalid, or nonexistent, down et; it says check to make sure you have internet or data connectivity. Using a computer and looking for the site via google I have no trouble connecting. Are we finally experiencing the ****ery of metro pcs heightening or is my data coverage area just that screwy ? I will note I dont have Adobe flash installed on my phone because Im a busy artist with too much of a demanding schedule to sit down and jump through such hoops for something I don't see a reason for having on my phone. I dont access many flash based sites via phone nor do I play games on my phone that require it as I have read done do. What I do mainly use my phone for is making music with saucilator, recording rough demos via mp3 recorder or soundcloud posting/downloading tracks via drop box or mms related stuff. So I hope im not offending anyone who uses Flash based things alot. Any help would be appreciated. These slow download times are becomming a headache.
 
do you have metro pcs for the service provider? if so the network is down for some new rennovations... from what im told the fix is suppost to make the 3g network faster with a data cap @5GB streaming. hope this helps.
 
hopefully its all data improvements been having the same issue in Los Angeles but when it does work its very slow. my sister and i can load a site on our phones (both in metropcs) and she will have the site loaded while mine is still loading. things get worse in google maps where its a miracle if i even find wat im looking for b4 i get there
