Root data and voice on esteem like connect???

so the new lg connect and that new crappy galaxy phone both can use data while on the phone but esteem cant!
so people can we get some devs or some ideas on how we can enable this on the esteem??


i also heard some friend talking about some 4g update on the indulge to get better coverage and its not a prl idk what thats about but if anybody heard about that do let me know.

That also bothered me there is a new chip on those phones that let's them do that however the Esteem is volte ready so once Metro releases Volte teh Esteem will also be able to do talk and surf at the same time hopefully sooner than later.

Lol the attain isn't crappy, what's bad about it the proccesor? ;) and yeah its the next generation of uicc cards, the esteem doesn't support this feature
 
The Esteem will not be able to do voice and data at the same time. Wasn't built that way.

The new 4G phones will be loaded with the new CAT3 ICCID cards. Which will allow Voice and data.

Thanks for the clarification i remember they said the esteem was volte ready i guess is not :(
 
Personally it doesnt bother me I cant surf the web and talk at the same time. I mean how often does one need too. But since I can send text messages while on a call Im happy

I didn't even know you could do that.. Damn reminder vibrate keeps going off in a call sometimes.. How do you go about texting on a call? And I may be going a little off topic here, but if you are on wifi are you able to surf too? Or even use something like Yahoo messenger or Skype?
 
When you get a text while on a call just hit your home key, pull down your status bar and slect the notification and then text ;)

With WiFi you can surf and talk. Even watch youtube videos and talk (useless but do-able) lol

Currently the only issue i have is with Tethering, if i am tethering and get a call, then yeah, no data...

so it would be nice to have talk/data at the same time.
 
well i dont think we can rule out that the esteem has volte, the connect and the other one use lte and cdma radio at the same time from what i imagine
