Help data cable question

Got a question.

Are there any usb data cables that are durable? I seem to be burning through data cables something fierce, they aren't tearing, but near the tip that seems to wear out under the sheath. So any cables that are resistant to that?

Seems like it must be you that is the problem. I'm not meaning to be flippant or anything but MAYBE you're doing something that's causing the cables to fail. Unfortunately I can't offer any suggestion of what that might be. It's just that I've never had a USB cable fail to work unless it was a problem with the USB port.

I don't know it is me or not. It just seems like my data cables die after some time.

Are they from the same manufacturer or brand? Is it the phone end or the computer end of the cable? I assume you would have tried different USB ports on your PC.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Yeah, they vary from manufacturer. However I discovered the problem. It has NOTHING to do with the cables. The Microusb port on my S2 had worn contacts. Thanks anyway for responding.
