Help Data comm problems between wifi/3g?

Has anyone else noticed any problems with routing between wifi and 3g?

When I walk around my office I have lots of sync errors between 3rd party apps, like greader, readitlater, tweetdeck.

I know my cell signal is terrible walking around inside my office bldg, but its showing me as having full wifi strength.... when the cell gets better all this stuff starts working....

Is my wifi not being used and/or is there a bug that cell needs to be connected to make it even try wifi? I've noticed if i goto airplane mode, it seems to use the wifi regularly but if i have cell on, with no signal - neither works very well....

Am i alone on this issue? IS there anything i can do to debug it?

I have noticed when I walk around my house it will sometimes go between wifi and mobile network. Even if the mobile signal is weaker than my wifi signal. I guess if the phone thinks it's a better signal than wifi it can switch between the two. If you want it to always use wifi in a certain building knowing the cell signal is weak and not wanting it to bounce between wifi and mobile data you can try turning mobile networks off and therefore it would only get the wifi signal to use. Menu - settings - wireless & networks - unchecked mobile network.

At least this is what I do.

In my case the wifi signal is strong, stronger then the wireless anyway... but it still seems to get stalled all the time so i wonder if its using wifi at all...

my wifi signal is usually stronger too but for some reason it still bounces between them. to se if it using wifi at all turn mobile networks off and then try to access the internet via wifi. with mobile networks off the only option for the phone to use would then be wifi.
