Welcome Powderpuff51!
Thanks for joining !
So the only way you get data is thru wifi correct? Does your phone connect to your wifi?
So you have no internet on your phone at all?

Is it your home wifi or maybe a local coffee shop?

Welcome to the site

For proper help and support, we need to know which device make and model you have and on which carrier.

I have a slightly similar issue, I get connected on my wifi at home and it works fine on browsing web pages, but my FB and whatsapp are connected with delay.

Whatsapp takes about 3 mins to provide connection status and messages are delayed.

FB news feed is fine but can not determine if contacts are online and don't get messages notifications.

Gmail messages don't show until i go into gmail and check for new masseges.

would appreciate your assistance on this.

Thanks
