Data Drops Randomly

My droid this weekend has randomly decided not to get data connection for hours at a time. I haven't been getting data for the last 2 hours or so tonight and I can get phone calls and my family's verizon phones all work. whats going on?

So it's not just me as my droid has randomly been switching between 1x and 3G today. I've had this droid for a week now and I've been getting 3 and 4 bars without ever dropping to 1x the whole time until today. I was running Bugless Beast 0.7.6 the whole time except the first day when I got this phone. I reverted back to stock 2.0.1, thinking Verizon got wise to our hacks (wifi-tether) but I'm getting the same 1x/3G switching and slow data speeds. I'm located in Knoxville, TN, by the way.

Hold power, turn on airplane mode, then turn it off. Your data connection just needs to be reset, thats all. Easy fix.
