Short answer is no....If you do a full data wipe, you will not lose root, nand access (s-off), or your custom recovery. You also will not be downgraded from 2.2.

What exactly do you want your end result to be? Wiping data (which is better to do from recovery rather than the bootloader while rooted) will only wipe out apps, app data, and settings. If you're on a custom ROM, you'll still have that custom ROM. As frenchy said, you won't lose recovery or s-off. So, is that what you want, or are you trying to do something else?

my htc sense is not working when i go to the mail widget it freezes and makes me force quit and people told me to do a reset

You can try it, then. It won't remove root. When did that start, exactly? Have you changed anything recently between when it worked (if ever) and didn't? There are also a lot of other things you can do to make it work again, some drastic, some not. Try that first.

also it started when i just switched the scenes from htc to another.no the simple truth is i tried anything and as you can see i had to go to my last option which i tried to avoid but i doesnt really matter cause i dont have that many apps on my phone
