Help data internet problem desire orange

I've posted this on the desire troubleshooting thread but haven't recieved any replies. When I switch on my mobile internet I'm not getting any 3g, 3g+, or internet at all. Also this then affects my texts and calls to the extent that even though I'm getting full signal I can't send or recieve texts or calls until I restart the phone.
Anybody else ever experienced this?

That is a very odd problem. I have desire on o2.
Have you got update sim card? Also have you got all the
Correct settings? I had problems with internet when
First had mine.

Last resort. Take it back to shop and complain

It's not new, I've had it since about May.
