Data is screwed

Over the past few weeks I've been noting the 4g is pretty sucky. The speed is good when it works. The problem is, the 4g connection likes to constantly time out, and the phone acts like there is no command running to use 4g.

At work, I have max bars all the time, best location ever, never had issues there, now I will try to load pages, and the 4g either takes a while to get going, or it doesn't at all. Im either forced to reboot the phone or even sometimes do a full reprogram through ##686* which fixes the issue but not for long.

Not sure what has been going on and Im curious if anyone else is noticing similar issues.

I have been getiing the samething on my motion over the past month. Times out and i have to keep turning airplane mode off and on works for a few then back to timeout or really slow and im 1/4 mile from tbe tower im connected too.

Same here too.

Plus some speed weirdness too.

Overall a bit faster than a couple three months ago but several instances of
3 bars and 1 Mps then 3 bars and 4 Mps a minute later.

Wondrin' here too.

okay so I change my PRl to 3033 and ya sucks were im at now im on 2032 the s3's and have not had and issue with the net yet

In atlanta I've noticed that sometimes I'll get a 1X or EVDO connection, like it's going to sleep. Turning the Data off and on usually fixes it, and it if doesn't a reboot will.

I think Metropcs is overprovisioning their network a bit (beta testing, as the sprint commercial says). Remember when Boost Mobile had these problems when they came out with their unlimited plan?

I have noticed that my latest speedtest app results show 8 mbps (this was at midnight though).

If you are showing decent speeds but still get data wonkiness, my favorite is the 5 sec + stumble before the page starts to load, try another launcher. I was using the stock Spirit Chrome, switched to Dolphin right after a stutter on Chrome and the pages are loading faster and smoother with no start up stutter.
