Help Data Lockup Fix Supposedly Coming in Q4

To quote my British friends, I'm gobsmacked! Supporting a device after it's been discontinued? Did Samsung suffer a collective head injury? This is highly out of character. What's next, Apple embracing the open source model?

I don't know....it's a post from yesterday from a Sprint employee. I would think that should mean something? I guess we'll see...

That Samsung is working on fixes for a discontinued item, heck, even admits that it manufactured the discontinued item is pretty big news on its own. I'm guessing here, but maybe Samsung finally realizes that if they want to be a major or the major player in smartphones, the dump and forget method of sales they employed with dumb phones won't cut it.

This is kind of what I'm thinking too. Perhaps Samsung is finally waking up and smelling the coffee, hey? ;)
