Data Recovery Help

Malacor

Lurker
If there is anyone out there that can help it would be appreciated. My wife's Samsung Conquer in a marvelous attempt to defy the laws of physics jumped down the stairs and now the screen is beyond use. I am attempting to get into it to recover the pics videos, and contacts from it. Connected through USB and it is not set to work as an external device (IE: Thumb Drive or mass media device). Are there any programs out there that I can use to either access the data through PC, or emulate the Android OS that is currently on the phone?

Thank you in advance.

welcome to the forums!!!!

is the device rooted? if so then it might be possible through the use of adb. if not then i do not think that you can.

edit: is the data on the sd card? or internal?

Device is not rooted, as for the data on the SD I do not know, I have an older model i can try and plug the card into just wasnt sure that if the OS's were different if it would format it

well if the data is not on the sd card and your phone is not rooted then their is not much you can do. if it has a mini hdmi port then maybe you can connect it to a monitor or tv, but i doubt these older phones have the hdmi mirror capabilities.
