Help Data roaming doesn't work in ICS

Before upgrading to ICS data roaming worked fine. Since the upgrade I get the warning that I have lost data connectivity because I am roaming and cannot access any data until back on my home network.

There is a tick in the box to allow data roaming but it seems to ignore this and cut me off anyway. I have also done the lates OTA upgrade to 4.0.4 and it is still the same.

I live in an area of the UK where my home network (3) is fairly patchy so rely upon roaming a lot, therefore this has made my phone far less useful.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am facing the same issue on Lyca. Whenever I go back into an area with signal from an area with no signal , the data connection does not pick up automatically. I have to restart the phone!

Anybody with a fix?

I am resident in Belgium and am experiencing exactly the same reported problem using a brand new Acer E330 and updated ICS. Any answers yet?

i had same problem as when i bought my note i was already on roaming and data wouldnt work....once u check the box to enable roaming- remove battery-remove sim- put back aft 30 sec... now search for network and select your home network.
it worked for me!!! give it a try... touchwood it should work for u
