Just a question of curiosity...

I assumed when i rooted initially i would loose everything...

when i put back my programs (before i put on TB) i noticed two specific programs remembered my settings

TuneIn radio and ESPN Sports Center, all my preferences and saved account stuff was still there..

shouldnt that have all been wioed out with the factory reset?

just curious

The process of rooting itself wont wipe any of your data. Only when you flash a ROM (thereby wiping data) will you lose your apps and such

Some apps that use the internet will save some settings and when you reinstall the app and sign in for the first time your settings will sync with the phone, I was shocked by this at first because when im on the stock rooted rom my old wallpaper shows up so im guessing google is doing that.
