data speed issues? 2.3.6

So I'm running 2.3.6 rooted.
Has anyone else had issues with the data speed?
Since I installed this, it seems I'm running at less than 10% of my original speed. I can't even get a speed test to run on this thing.
 
I notice data speed issues ever since using Odin to get baseband FA19. With EJ06 my 3g used to fly with no tweaks. There could be tower work being done in my area but I doubt it. I'm going to go back to EJ06 and see if that fixes it. My 3g keeps going to 1x.
 
I've been saying this all a long . The FA19 update is garbage . I started losing radio and 3g right after flashing it . The new modem sux .. I Odined EJ06 to fix the problem and things are back as they should be . There are a few ways to stop the update . I run CTMod 3.2 and CM7 . Both will not get it .
 
Went back to 2.3.4.
Runs a lot better now.
Hopefully boost can get there act together.
If not I'll have to mod my droid incredible to a cheap prepaid plan and go back to that.
 
I wonder why 2.3.6 was your problem. Unless you are in Canada. How exactly did you go from 2.3.6 to 2.3.4. I'm still learning. Thanks

I used odin to downgrade.(really an upgrade for some..)
I still had that from the last update which killed my friends phone.
I'm pretty sure the fa19 baseband just wasn't right for out here.
This area is always late for updates on anything.
I think only one city within a 50 mile radius has even gotten 4g on ANY network.
I'm in Virginia.. sure wish I was in Canada though.
