Data usage by SETTINGS

I have just bought SPB Wireless Monitor which gives me the amount of data used by each App. I find this very helpful as I am on a PAYG basis on Vodafone and I need to watch the data used. I am currently on the

to remove peep COMPLETELY off the phone you would need to root it and then either install a custom ROM in which it had been removed to begin with or then remove it yourself via ADB means...

otherwise no not really..

I cant honestly think why SETTINGS would want internet access, unless you have "send anonymous info" turned on in your SYNC settings...maybe thats it...I dont know..

Having data always on checked under settings might result in some data usage, I'm not sure how much really.

You can always turn off the data connection if you're not using it. I do that sometimes when I know I won't be needing a data connection.

Go into Peep settings and disable all auto update settings. Next disable always on mobile internet, like the poster above said. Its under settings>wireless&networks>mobile networks>enable always on mobile data.

Make sure its unchecked.
