Data usage measurement in Jelly Bean

Hi,

First off, let me say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new N2.

I am on Verizon, and according to them I've already used my 2Gb up for the month, but in Android's data usage monitor I've only used 0.9 Gb. I know it says the carrier may measure it a bit differently, but more than double? What gives?

Thanks

This can happen, if you just receive the device and already had half a month on another device the Data carries over and you can get charged from it.

If you need assistance in limiting your data i would suggest to turn off Syncing over data, especially with apps, you can do this by going into the Play Store settings and turning on, "Sync only over Wifi"

Otherwise turning off data and only turning it on when you need it also helps :)
