data widget not working after ROM

I've always used the curvefish widgets (data, wifi, bluetooth, and GPS) on my desire with no problem.

Got a sensation a few days back and installed that revolution HD ROM which works fine, however my data on/off widget doesn't work properly.

The wifi ones works fine, but data doesn't seem to turn on/off with the button. I can turn it on via that quick pull down menu at the top of the screen, and sometimes the widget can switch it off, but it doesn't work consistent.

Any idea's on what to do/look for ?

someone please correct me if im wrong but i do believe that google changed they're way of activating cartain things as newer OS updates came out. 1 thing they changed of course is the remote data on/off function from a widget unless its a built in HTC widget.

had similar problem when i had my desire z running 2.2, i got around my problem with this from the market. Think i payed like 60p or something similar in price and it worked flawlessly.

Have you tried the built in HTC data widget? (i haven't looked through them in a while but am sure there is one?)
