I think i messed up my wimax settings some how and i was wondering if anyone knew how to reset them? or someone know the default values?
i even flashed over my wimax vis recovery and it seemed to help a little but im not sure.

If you were trying to the the 4G trick that makes it goes fast here's what you got to do Open dialer and enter ##3282#

Select

WiMAX_Scan_Attempt_Timeout = 1

WiMAX_Scan_Retry(s) = 120

WiMAX_Idle_Sleep(s) = 10

WiMAX_Entry_RX(RSSI)(dBm) = -89

WiMAX_Entry_CINR(dB) = 6

WiMAX_Entry_Delays = 300

WiMAX_Exit_CINR(dB) = 2

I've seen these directions a few places...

What I've never seen is howto get to the place where you will be entering them. Can anyone point me to those?

I just received my htc evo v about two weeks ago. The first week I had no issues with my data connection and on speed test on 3G, I was getting between 1 - 2 MB download. Week two, I changed these wimax settings and around this same time going forward, my 3 G speeds are horrible, I have consistantly been getting network issues on trying to connect to the internet. I called virgin mobil and they said that there shouldnt be any network issues in my area. They also said that wimax is not available in my area. What I was wondering is that, changing these wimax settings, would this in any way affect my 3G connection or speed? Thank you for your feedback. I was thinking about changing back to stock settings but I will wait for feedback. Thanks.

Changing wimax settings should have absolutely no effect on 3G,they are completely separate settings and radios.
