hi guys i have just cooked my rom from the stock gingerbread from htc dev, all i wanted was 2.3 without the crap, my question is can i put data2ext on the rom if so how? cheers guys

Not sure what you meant by cooked. Do you mean you ran it through dsixda kitchen? Did you add init.d support?

It's data2sd you want, not data2exr

yeah sorry i did it in the cwgin in windows ok so how do i add init.d support my friend

It's an option in the dsixda kitchen. Advanced option 17 perhaps?
