Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Orderd the phone 5/21/10 and recieved it on 6/9/10...

It did take one day longer then it should have as they did NOT give me the free overnight shipping as they advertised....

verizon said that no one (on their end) changed the shipping on it to overnight like they are suppose to.... It came 2 day instead....

Well I see that someone on the verizon forums got a shipping notice an he/she is a 5/25er and they will be getting their phone TOMORROW by 3pm WHY oh why verizon did u forget about my 5/25er?
 
Just joined up, I ordered mine a couple of days ago and I know that I still have a long wait. I was browsing Amazon about an hour ago and they had 5 in stock. I didn't order one because I have already ordered mine and ported my number from AT&T and did not want to deal with the issue of refusing order and making sure my number got ported to the correct phone. I know I should have snapped one of these up and I'm sure I'll kick myself for the next 3 weeks, so now I will just wait with the rest of you. I guess I will just read everything here until mine arrives to wet my appetite.
 
Any more 5/24s or any 5/25s getting a notice? I just got off the horn with VW and they said that 5/21 - 5/23 should ship by 5/11, 5/24 by 5/14 & 5/25 by 5/15! It looks like they might have gotten bumped back a little! !!!?More delays?!!!

The web site shows phones ordered today will not ship until 7/8. Shipping quotes are now 28 days instead of the 21 that has been on there. 4 weeks up from 3!!!

I ordered mine off of Amazon on 6/8 and it just came about 30 minutes ago. Thank god, too, because I am so freakin impatient when it comes to this kind of stuff.

They told me earlier today that everything is still on track for me to have mine ship no later than the 16th. There apparently is a difference by region though, according to the rep. His schedule is broken up by date and then by North, East, South, Midwest and West.
 
Ordered mine on 5/24 and got an email today (6/10)

Too bad it wasn't a day early so I would have it before the weekend, stupid 2day shipping! Won't get it til Monday. :mad:
 
Called Verizon today to get an update on my replacement for my Incredible that died.

they ordered my replacement on sunday evening and told me it would be the 20th or 21st.

"Miss Thang" from Verizon indicated today that the new ship date is now 6/30.

Contemplating refusing the phone when it comes and waiting for the next wave of Android phones.

Those are the estimated ship dates taht were on the website when you ordered the phone. All VZW CSR has about these phones is a list of the date ordered and the estimated ship by date. Not worth the phone call unless you're approaching your ship by date and looking for a shipping number

My order date is 5/25. The rep I talked to when I placed my order told me it would ship by the 11th..That's why I called to check on the status.

I saw someone that said a 5/25 order shipped today, and some 5/24s yesterday; so I was hoping that mine might ship today.

Status: Shipped today out of West Chester PA
Location: Falls Church VA
2 day shipping schueduled to be delivered 6/14/10.
Hoping for a stoke of luck and get it tomorrow.
 
I just got the notice for my 5/24 order, will be delivered tomorrow with overnight shipping. Fedex shows is for delivery in the AM.

I live in the SF bay area and the unit is coming from LA.

Fedex delivers on Saturday, it is just extra $$$$$$ (many dollar signs).

The package will most likley get to Memphis tonight and sit on the runway till the flight to your local distribution hub then to your local depot.
 
What was very interesting was that at 1:08 I called Verizon to see if they had an ETA. Was told that it wouldn't ship until the 15th with delivery on the 17th. Then at 2:28 got my email confirming shipment. Proof that the CSR's have no idea what they are talking about.

I just double checked and found the receipt. I counted back wrong on the calendar when I made my first post. It was the 21st @ 19:09 EDT that I ordered it.

So it was just shy of 3 weeks.

I will fix my first post.

I ordered mine at B&M store on 5/24. Recieved tracking email yesterday (6/9), due tomorrow (6/11) via FedEx.
Tracking shows mine in Memphis!
