Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Man I feel for you guys/gals having to wait for this phone. I remember waiting for release after pre-ordering. I have already been through two Incredible's. For some reason the Best Buy near me knew that this would be a hot phone and ordered 35 in the beginning and 35 to arrive two weeks later. The local Verizon store that is right down the street only ordered 10.

I just found out that I have overnight shipping. So hopefully I will get it in a few days. I tried the tracking trick on Fedex but, nothing came up. So it probably hasn't shipped yet.

To get the numbers you need for the Fedex tracking thing, they're right after "Order Location:" on your receipt if you purchased in-store right? So it would be like "Order Location: 00000 00 #000000"? Also the first digit of mine is a letter, do I use it? Or just use numbers?

Should I expect any delays w shipment? I dont plan to pay the bill until its due.

Just got off the phone with VZ rep who thinks I'm being totally unreasonable. I was told I would have my phone by the 15th. Everyone else who ordered their phone on the 25th seems to have gotten theirs today as expected...so I ask why does mine say the 16th? I at first was willing to over look the 24 hour delay until they changed my shipping est from before 4 to sometime before 7 pm. The rep thinks I'm crazy to split hairs but I don't care I want my phone and I want to bitch that I don't have it!!!! damn verizon

I just want to also say that VZW has no idea what they are talking about and calling is a complete waste of time and breath. I sent an email to internet orders yesterday and received a response today saying the usual yada yada yada followed by the " ship by date" every VZW rep had a story to tell and its actually quite amusing in hind sight but after getting off the phone and the rep having no idea when it would ship and then checking my inbox and having the SN there I almost died I was so flabbergasted so my message to all those waiting 2 days before your ship by date is a reasonable guess.
