Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It definitely IS a waste of time. They will likely give you a specific expected date, with no real acuracy. The reality is, they have no idea, but they won't tell you that!

In my opinion, you are better off following (obsessively perhaps, like many of us) this thread and keeping up with who gets theirs vs when they ordered vs where they ordered vs how the ordered...its a science really.
;)
 
Ordered: 5/28 (in-store Winston-Salem, NC, 2pm-ish)
Ship by date: June 18th
Arrived: June 16th at 1pm, but missed it due to being asleep(I work 3rd shift)
Second attempt: Hopefully around the same time and I left a signature. Also, I have my alarm clock set :D.

For all those worried about not receiving an email notification, breath easy...ok easier. I didn't receive an email notification the fedex man just showed up at my front door.
 
Sorry it took so long for me to post info. I registered the other day but never got a login email so I had to wait to be approved.

Ordered phone: 5/27 - verizon wireless online
Est. Ship date: 6/17
Recieved info: 6/14 2-day shipping from PA To bridgeville DE
Recieved: 6/15

The fedex guy that dropped it off a day early said he would have held the package on his truck to be delivered on schedule on 6/16 but he had to empty his truck to be cleaned so he delivered it early.

I've been lurking here for the past few weeks following when I should get my incredible. I figured now would be a good time for a first post considering I finally got the e-mail.

Ordered: May 29
Promised: June 22
Shipped: June 16
Estimated Delivery: June 18

I can't wait! I basically have a little shrine of accessories (microSD card, case, screen protector) sitting on my kitchen table awaiting this device.
 
Morning fellow DInc stalkers! I just placed my first order for an accessory....Radio Shack has SanDisk 16gb micro sdhc cards on sale for $49.99 with free shipping.
 
I am going to be new to Verizon. I just ordered from Amazon because the phone is $149 no tax instead of $199 + tax at my Verizon store.

I know Verizon said they'd give me a $100 transfer credit, but after tax and no tax is sorted out it would be about a $25 difference and I have a few amazon gift cards to use :-)

Shipping is 1-3 weeks. We'll see what happens!
 
Been reading for a week now....impatiently waiting for phone....joined yesterday when forum when wacky...did not get activation email....could not post....lololol....double crazy! Have been a voyager user for 2 years....

Order in store: June 3
Estimated arrival: June 24
2nd Estimated arrival: June 30

I believe I will call to day and see if I have another date....lol....the wait is killing me!
 
I ordered mine from a VW store on 6-12 and was given a ship date of 7-9. Seems like the wait time is getting longer. I hope it ships sooner than that. Anyone order theirs around the same time and what is your ship date?

Promised to ship 6/22 overnight.
I have not received any email but it looks like others that ordered on 5/29 shipped yesterday.

I got a 16g sansdisk micro SD on Amazon for $32 with free shipping.
 
I ordered my phone on 6/5, was told that my shipping date was 6/25 which is a Friday. Very encouraging to see that a 6/1 shipped. Gives me hope that I'll have my phone before next weekend. Want to avoid having to wait another weekend.

Hey BB -- I've got accessories on the way as well! New case and chargers... Now I need that phone to show up!! :D Unfortunately I've probably got another 10 days to go before it arrives... :(
 
I'm a 6/8 and really not liking these posts about "new" estimated ship dates. Have any of you tried to finagle free accessories or anything out of them for misleading a customer? I thought waiting almost a month was bad, but I'm gonna be pretty pissed if they keep me on the hook for even longer after stating on the website it would ship by 6/30.

Has anyone actually gotten their phone later than promised, or do you think they're just hedging their bets?

As we've pointed out many many times throughout the thread - customer service doesn't have a clue. They've been hitting the ship by dates, and most of the time at least a day or two before then. BUT, check to make sure when your order was actually processed - we have seen people who ordered on one day and processed a day or two later which could mean the difference between 3 and 4 weeks of wait time. Otherwise - check this thread everyday, about every 5 or 10 minutes hoping that someone in your time frame posts so that you can do the happy dance that you'll be soon.

I can't decide on the case or screen guard so I'm bein a slacker. Lol. I'm probably a 10 day wait too. :(

I'm just going with a regular silicone gel skin for the cover and ordered a screen guard from Best Skins Ever. This combo has always worked well for my smartphones. I was going order the Otterbox but I heard it may add some bulk and I don't need that! :eek:

But went a little nuts this morning and now have a bunch of shipments coming to me for the Memory Card, Silicone Cover, Screen Protector, Car Charger.

Am I missing anything?
 
Well the fed ex came around 2 yesterday with my DINC and its amazing trust me the wait is worth it!

So after botching my first order on 5/24 , Verizon put another order in on 6/5. I was told I'd get shipping confirmation by email. Well I had some accessories delivered a couple days ago but never got a tracking #, so I called to make sure I'd get notification by email and cs said no because they didn't check the box for that option at the time of order. WTF. Verizon! Guess ill be waiting cluelessly for the next week. I guess on the upside I will be pleasantly surprised when the fedex Guy rolls up. So all you people waiting for a shipping notification may be in the same boat. Grrr. ..so tired of waiting. Would have had it by now had they not screwed everything up!
