Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

i'm tempted to call 611 again to check on the status, but i have a feeling they have a whole page of notes on me already from multiple csr's

I am happy to stop by request of anyone, no need for a mod. I thought it was fun theater and a nice diversion from the topic of waiting. When I was waiting, I enjoyed the diversions. If people don't, I am happy to stop.

Do it - if you've been nice then there's probably notes but nothing too bad. (I even let the people know today that I wasn't gonna yell at them). Lol. At least try for a credit if you haven't been shipped.

I personally don't have a problem with the back and forth - it's kinda funny and it is a very good diversion
 
So no good news on the VZW front. Shippnig still 7/15 mostly because of the holiday weekend, if not I would get it on the 10ish, so says CSR. Man do I have a long wait still. And now for something completly different...

It takes 25 years for Mother Earth to produce 1 inch of top soil. So if you are 25+ you are officially as old or older than dirt!

Ha, I believe being at least as old as dirt gives you the right to complain about waiting 3+ weeks for a phone, getting the run around, and disappointments after disappointments. After all being as old as dirt means you dont have much time left!!!! Your on the down hill slide now...if you are not at that point now you should have all the patience in the world. After all no one can send you those old as dirt birthday cards and actually have it right....:D:D
 
so the CSR that i talked to on wednesday gave me a call today to see whats up. I thanked him a lot and he said that although this is not entirely verizons fault he knows they should take responsibility for it and that when we talked on wednesday he actually wrote a note saying that the phone is already late and should be shipped asap with no questions. well it was shipped the next day after we talked.


good stuff.
 
6/3 here, 6/24 estimated ship date with free overnight shipping

No email and fedex has already left my area so I know it won't be today. :(

I've been lurking since I first ordered.....its really helped having this thread and you guys around. :)

I have been lurking this thread for a while. Does anybody know if I would have been given an order number in the store? Would it be on my receipt?
 
OH THE TORTURE!!!!!

I keep getting FedEx tracking conformation emails but they are not from VZW...some other stuff I/hubby ordered!!!! The pain!!!! And the bad thing is I KNOW not to expect one for another 2 weeks!!!!
 
Ordered mine in store on June 19th and was all ready to finally get my Incredible. The guy started showing me the accessories, etc. We talked for a good 5-10 minutes before he told me I'd have to wait. I have to wait until about July 18th!

Order date: June 19th
Ship date: July 18th

Haven't called 611 yet but plan to today. Going to stay on their asses. I can't believe they screwed up the launch and still haven't fixed the problem. This is their iPhone and they are screwing it up big time
