The first thing I learned following this thread is that the csr's don't know squat! Therefore, I will calmly choose to ignore the above statement for the sake of my sanity.

Hang in there. It has been proven many times here that CS has no clue what is going on, and can't tell you your ship date until it has already shipped.
I was hoping that too, now I'm just hoping my original ship date of 7/12 was correct and I see my Dinc in a week.

original "ship-by" date: "oh, probably 2 weeks"
money taken from my credit card: 6/14
heard absolutely nothing from verizon: almost a month
shipping info received: 7/7
shipped: 7/7
estimated arrival: 7/9 by 7pm!
actual arrival: ??
so now begins the repeated refreshing of my fedex tracking page!
hang in there guys & gals, there's a light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm not sure where all the big distribution centers are at, but my guess would be Memphis. They need to get it together and start getting some Dincs out!

Oh I know I won't miss it. I am sure they laugh at me at the local store as I go in every 3 days or so and stand there and play with the floor model Dinc for like an hour. It is an amazing machine particularly compared to the 3G iPhone. I don't know if I am cursed or lucky cause I can't call 611 and harass CS as I guess I am not a true customer till I get my phone and activate it. Different than the local Sprint store. I went in there inquiring about the EVO which was backlogged as well. When the store manager thought he could get a new Sprint customer he "magically" found one for me in less than an hour and called me for days. I didn't sign up though as Sprint service/coverage is less than stellar where I live. They don't even have 3G coverage around my house. Would of been nice to have that all in one plan but everyone says you get what you pay for. I have to give it to that manager though, he was out there bending over backward to get a new customer and make them happy.

I think I know why Memphis warehouse has been a problem for Dinc orders. It seems that all the customers that ordered their Moto X thru customer service and got their phones a week early are coming from the Memphis warehouse, so it seems that they've been so busy sending out X phones that they havent had time to send out Dinc phones. NOW I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO PISS SOME PEOPLE OFF, I KNOW I AM!!!!!!!!!

That's exactly what happened to me..the CSR that told me it would most probably ship in August actually told me.."folks are buying them faster than WE can make them".
I honestly think that she thought Verizon was the manufacturer. When I got off the phone with her I thought I was having an anuerysm, my damn head hurt so much.

Ever see the movie The Game (1997) ? There are parallels to be drawn with all the madness involved in getting a damn DiNC. I'm just waiting for the Verizon guy to peek around the corner laughing while handing me my long awaited phone. (Man would I LOVE to punch that guy in the head.)

Ok so the waiting is really starting to get to me...
I called again and CSR told me (after putting me on hold for 10 minutes) that she "found" my order (I didnt know it was lost) and that it "will ship sometime next week gauranteed". No excuses, nothing just a gaurantee it will ship next week (like I'll be holding my breath for that one). Guess I'm not going to get it early after all...

I was thinking the same thing. But its kindo of crazy een of you do get the waranty for like 9 dollars a month you still have to pay 85 dollars service fee. Depending on if somthing happens later thats 9 dollars for many months plus the charge.

called CSR yesterday and the guy gave me the run around as to be expected said that i should add an extra 5 days to the original shipping date and that would be more accurate, i then called the store i ordered from and they PROMISED me it would be IN my hands by 7/12.... Conflicting answers anyone?? If i dont see the phone by monday i guess i am going to go back in store and raise hell

i know that's what i was thinking, but what if something happens to it and then i have to pay 500$ or whatever for a new one
