Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

So I checked out another Android Forum that also has a "date your phone shipped" thread. I saw THREE reports of people who ordered on 6/18 getting their shipping notifications on Friday or Saturday.

This gives me great hope that my 6/19 order will ship out by Wednesday. I know I have 2 day delivery and I really want it by Friday.

And don't worry guys, I am not cheating on you with the other forum. I just keep an eye on that one thread, looking for good news! As soon as I get my phone I will never see them again :D

Nice, we can be buddies! And if our phones don't come by their estimated ship dates we can join forces and burn down their store together :p

Are you actually in DC? I am in Fairfax County. Soon to be moving to Prince William though, we are buying a house and just can't afford these fancy ass Fairfax County prices ;)

I have a couple friends that take the Metro into DC for work and they say it is great. Personally I only use the Metro a few times a year (don't go into DC much) but I figure it will be handy to have anyway.

You see... what I am REALLY doing is spying on them. They have good info too! I go over there, see what's up, and report anything useful back here! Just call me 007!

The cool kids are here. And our forum just looks better. And our mods/guides are fun as hell. We definitely have the better deal going on.

Alas, you are forgiven:rolleyes:.... But only cause i'm digging the username...:D good flick, daughter hated that i convinced her to watch it...(too sad).

Aww, poor girl. It was a good movie though... and it was an even better book. One of my favorites as a child. I even created "Terabithia" in the woods near my house.

I like my spelling better, though :p

Damn, I was nerdy even as a child! I don't know where this came from either. My mom can't even use her DVD player for fear of crashing the whole TV and my dad is still loving his big orange flip phone that looks like it could be used as a weapon to kill a very large man.

Didnt notice the spelling. Never thought about the book either, will have to check that out(i'm a huge reader). And i'm with you(nerd:D:p)

I have two groups of friends. The ones who get it and nerd out with me. And the ones that don't get it.

Of course, the ones who don't get it always seem to remember how important it is when they crash their computer again and need help. Go figure :D

I really need to reformat my computer and wanted to do it tomorrow (going from Windows 7 Home Premium to Ultimate - turns out I really DO want some of those features!) but I don't want to be away from my internet for hours while I do it. My mom stole my laptop and she is so cute and happy that I don't have the heart to take it back. That just leaves me with my Netbook and keeping up to date on here with a 10 inch screen makes me sad.

So I am screwed. I really need my forum fix while I wait for the DINC to arrive. Only thing keeping me sane. But if I wait until after I get the DINC, I will be too busy playing with that thing to gives a rats butt about my Windows OS. Touch decisions!

that is a tough one.... shouldn't take that long to load up ultimate though, i fix computers on the side while i go to school for computers and did one the other day(vista to 7 ultimate), took bout 2 hours i guess. Got an old cpu in it or something? I sent a friend request so maybe we can talk shop sometime....:D Dont know bout you but after 11 hour work day 3 am aint looking to friendly:rolleyes:. Hello!

I upgraded to the incredible on 6/17 and was told I would have it by July 15th. First I tried online, but my discount was not showing up so I completed it over the phone (through verizon). Last week I double-checked my order over the phone, just to be sure.

So far, no shipping notifications or tracking information. Needless to say I am very excited to upgrade from a basic motorola flip phone.

if it isn't shipped with a "before 10AM" deadline then you will get it sometime after 10:00 AM.

I understand the pricing thing...I actually lived in DC itself for close to ten years, but I moved to Bethesda this past January (It's just outside DC in Maryland) because we needed a bigger place (new-ish baby) and DC was pretty expensive...

Thanks for the app suggestion, but we also have being nerdy in common, since I have had that app saved in my appbrain account since I first ordered the DiNc. :) It looks like the best of the DC Metro apps out there.

DC Metro is OK...it used to be better, but is not quite as dependable anymore. It's still clean, and relatively safe, but delays and fare hikes have made it a little bit of a pain. I try and bike as much as possible these days.

Back on topic...Our date is getting close...I'm definitely losing it a bit...I can't believe it's actually almost here.
 
I'm surprised that somehow I have 80+ posts? Haha it's been 17 days since I ordered, expected shipping by the 23rd (ordered 6/26). I'm hoping/praying I receive a shipping notice by the 20th, that way I get it before my week-long vacation on the 23rd.

The problem I have is that I ordered mine through work. I am not listed as a primary contact on our corp account, so they will not tell me anything. :(
