Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

anyone get anything over nite? my 32g card shipped and will be here Monday, i was thinking maybe the computer would see the two orders and merge them and slip me a phone quicker, but that is probably a pipe dream. :(

7/8 re-order and it was a complete disaster but for 2 hours of its life.

The touch screen was non-responsive out of the box, then worked, then didnt, then it did the random input and select thing, then it would freeze, battery got super hot, etc. etc.

it def. has some major circuit issue.

Ouch :( Hopefully the newer one is fine, i'm sure it will. I'm thinking maybe since we're getting ours later, it'll almost be better? Not like the whole "toyota rushing to be the best resulting in recalls" but like they're newer thus idk what i'm trying to say haha

Everyone's been getting (mostly) shipping notifications around 5 days early :) have hope!
 
Well the date of delivery has come and gone! Our Dincs were supposed to be here on the 12th of July (My Boss and I) according to our corperate salesman. he told us that they would be here and he did not even comunicate by e-mail. I have to say that Verizon phone reception is exceptional, but I have got nothing but BS from Day #1 from these people! I only wish that our corperate account were with At&t!!!....Off rant!!
 
So do they still make phones and do everything else on the weekend except for shipping? I would hope maybe the are cranking out a buncha phones as we speak and come Monday they will start shipping out a bunch.

I am holding out hope that I get mine on or before July 21 because I leave for vacation on the 22nd. I am tempted to change the shipping address to the cabin but I don't wanna screw it up.

I ordered in store on June 28 so its right on the verge of possibility.

I think I read somewhere you couldn't change shipping once you ordered it? Don't quote me though haha. I ordered 6/26 and am leaving for vacation the 23rd, really want it beforehand as well.

I ordered mine on June 28th also. I was also scheduled to start my vacation on the 22nd!! I didn't want to risk it so I changed my vacation to August 2nd. Its called "Incredible Stress Reduction".

Mine has left Memphis and is now sitting in Indy. I pass right by the Fed Ex port tomorrow when I fly out of Indy on vacation. Think my phone will know I drove by and feel the love?
 
Ordered mine on 6/21
Will ship by 7/16 Somehow my apt # got scratched off so they didnt deliver it. so i went to pick it up on 7/17

WTF, i just found two authorized verizon outlets in my town that have plenty of Inc's but are selling it for $250.00 and will not honor new every two

i cannot believe they have so many in stock.
i passed.

I think the Fed Ex man is a lot like Santa. We wait and wait for him to arrive and he arrives when we have finally given up to sleep or errands. Perhaps we should leave the Fed Ex man treats, but probably not cookies, perhaps a cold 6 pack.

And one question, i've just been browsing the forum for battery tips and things. I read 'use wifi when available.' i have wifi at home, but just wondering what the advantages are?

I don't have an office :-( I'm still a kid haha. Well not really but yeah.
And as far as the talk and surf thing (how many people really do that?) the wifi won't improve battery life at all right? just use up more of it?
