Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Given that vzw is still saying 'will be shipped by august 3rd' as of right now, for orders made on the 26th, its not unreasonable to think that an order from last week might be shipped a couple business days before that and up shipping this week. Especially when verizon seemed to be (from reports on here) working through 5-7 days of backlogged orders a day last week.

i just got off the phone with Verizon, the rep said the latest i should have it in my hands is monday. but don't be surprised if it shows up the middle to end of this week. :D
 
Congrats to those who got their phones today! I was hoping that Fedex would decide to bring mine a day early but that's not the case. I just have to wait until tomorrow. Today has taken FOREVER... and on top of that.. my Fedex status hasn't changed since Saturday. I've been refreshing the page constantly!!

Cheers for those about to receive their phones tomorrow!! :D

I had the exact same hope today, with the exact same results. And I too have worn out the refresh button.

Yippee for Tuesday - bring it!
 
Just got mine today..
Came via USPS, no signature required for some reason.
Ordered 7/4 online
promised 8/3
shipped 7/22
Delivered 7/26

and my USPS tracking # was not visible on the postal website, according to CS @ VZW postal employees cannot track their parcels..strange.
 
Ordered at VZ store 07-22-2010

Just got off the phone with cs. Has not shipped yet. :mad:

Love my Eris (Rooted, running FroYo), but DInc is what I need/want!
 
well so far so good, and i promised i would not leave this thread till it was closed even though i got my phone

This has been said on here many times......You're Gonna Love this Phone.
I've been on it since 3pm today when it came in the mail and I have not been able to put it down.
So much to learn on this Phone
 
Hey guys I decided to buy the incredible since I've been lurking on this thread. I ordered the phone on the 25th and called 611 today and got the "phone awaiting activation" message. Not too sure what that exactly means though lol.

Also I leave on the 7th for vacation and was wondering if you guys think I have any shot of getting it before then.

I wouldnt think too much of the activation message, i got that last week (the first time i checked it, i ordered the 19th). Im still waiting.

I think you have a good shot at getting it by vacation. As of today when i checked verizon's site, new orders were listed with 'will be shipped by 8\3', so at the latest your order should go out on the 3rd and be in your hands by the 4th or 5th.

I'm also hoping i get mine before a trip. Ordered on the 19th, and i leave iowa for los angeles on the 31st. If it doesnt get here by friday it'll be waiting for me when i get back.
 
thanks for the positive support guys. Reading these threads has made me more and more impatient. I feel like a little kid waiting for christmas.

That's exactly what I did. They left it on my doorstep and took the note. Did you receive yours as promised?
 
well, the phone was great last night.....battery not so much, but I have the 1750 and will charge it tonight with the phone overnight.

Knock on wood nothing weird happened last night with it but lets see how it does with making it through the day.

What dates are shipping now?

Oh, and the screen is most certainly AMOLED
