Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I've come to accept the fact that my shipping most likely won't come today. It's a sad realization because that means the phone will come next week most likely.

I found Google Goggles to be pretty boring (plus it was pre-installed on Moto Droid). Taskpanel X I like better than Advance Task Killer (no ads in this version, also asks for less permissions and is just as good).

Go ahead and geek out with these that I like (mostly widgets):
- you decide: ADW Launcher / Launcher Pro / Helix. Lots of folks like them over the Sense UI. I have ADW Launcher on the Moto Droid.
- Package Tracking (tracks UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, plus many others)
- WiFI Analyze
- Mini Info Widget (cool!)
- Smooth Calendar
- Apps Organizer
- Audio Manager widget
- Dazzle (configurable toggles for wifi, gps, BT, etc)
- Scanner Radio
- Tech Buzz (get all your latest Android news!)
- Astro (or your choice of file manager)
- TV.com is good alternative to HULU.
- Zimly, Meridian or use stock Music player (all have different widgets... I'm not a fan of either, but use stock Music since it seems to be just as good)
FYI - barcode scanner is a must! I love to just point and shoot and download an item from appbrain without logging in!

June 8: picked up / sent to FedEx blah blah blah...
June 9: (just updated) in trasit as of 30 minutes ago
June 10: expected delivery by 7pm, although our guy usually delivers around lunch time..

Good luck and check again. you may see some movement! :cool:

I've been obsessively reading this thread for days now, and based on others experiences, I think us 5/29 should receive an email, stating that its been shipped, on the 11th or 14th and then hopefully have it by the 15th or 16th, if you got the next day shipping option. I really really hope so!!!!! Post as soon as you get word from verizon.

Same here dude i'm a 26er, crossing my fingers for fri!
I have a mild case of ocd and now all vzw sales rep know i'm calling their store for a tracking number bc they know my num by now and avoid my calls :.Sigh.:

5/26, in-store, Allentown, PA

I am encouraged by the quick turnarounds from warehouse to delivery out of Westchester, PA.

If it comes tomorrow, I am likely to show up on this thread - drunk with Incredibleness - and buy a round of apps for everyone in the forum.

Same here (ocd) I am a 5/25er speaking of which I am on the phone NOW with vzw to check for a tracking # lol cause that alt ref on fedex dont work for me lol Any other 5/25er hear n e thing yet?
 
If it goes on the pattern we've been seeing... 24s and 25s should go tomorrow, 26s on Friday, and then 26s and 27s on Monday. Just my observation. As a 26er, I'm giddy!

You know, this is really bad. I had a verifiable Blackberry problem with the Storm II, which now that I have committed to the Dinc, looks like that really weak marijuana my uncle smoked in the Vietnam-era and naively thought was potent stuff....

5/22 order in-store.
Phone arrived sometime early this afternoon before 12:30PM - got home from lunch and there was already a "we missed you" slip on my door. Picked it up from Fed-Ex and just now got home from getting it activated and having the screen protector installed at my local VZW retail store. They did a great job with the screen protector, and I'm not sure where all the animosity towards the Verizon brand protectors comes from - mine looks awesome (anti-glare).

A pleasant surprise was they shipped the phone with a 2GB SD card installed in the phone and also included an additional 2GB card in the shipping box. Booyah!

Looks like shipping has picked up again, as it seems a lot of 5/24's have been receiving their phones. Which is fantastic!

I never looked for an e-mail, so I can't say for sure whether they actually sent notification or not. I will check later tonight if I can figure out which one of my many accounts they had in their computer.

For those still waiting - stay patient! This phone is absolutely stunning in every way.

P.S. I also purchased the red/black gradient case from Verizon and it fits, looks, and feels great. Probably not what I will permanently keep on my phone, but perfect for now until something a little snazzier pops up on the market.
Snug on the phone, though I have noticed what many have described as a slight edge on the case's sides. Doesn't bother or concern me in the least.

I am a 5-25're, and can't wait. I sold my Rogue on ebay for $150.00 last week, and got my Inc. for $299.99 -$70.00 discount for some reason? - $50.00 for the discount flyer going around that I called about, but didn't get. And I still get the $100.00 rebate. Have my case, SPG screen protector, and car/wall charger combo waiting. The 15th can't come soon enough, this will be my first smart phone. I hope the Inc. is all it's cracked up to be.

I just bought mine today on the Verizon website !

I was holding out for Verizon iPhone but after the WWDC i couldn't wait any longer.

So here i am joining the dark side, Android for me, baby ;)

Site said would ship by June 30 :(

Arrgh, can't wait to check it all out.
