Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

The CSR didn't say anything to me about it not having any use. Matter of fact she said it worked outs good because I wouldn't have to activate my old phone for a short while but could continue using it until the 15th.

Why do I have a funny feeling this is going to be a big mess when I show up and the VW store?

they told me they will only waive the restock fee if there is no usage, otherwise you have to pay the $35 restock...im sure if you complain enough they'd waive it...lol. i was thinking, yea right like we arent going to at least touch the incredible after such long anticipation! They will change their story a thousand times before then anyhow
 
Dont know what was up with this lady but decided to share. Not sure how acurate her info is either.

CSR: The shipping dates are baised on when your orders were processed not when they were placed. My order for example was taken on the morning of the 16th but not processed until the morning of the 17th. So my shipping will not be 7/12 (for 6/16 orders) it will be for 7/15 (for 6/17 orders). They are doing that to help stretch out how many people ordered in one day. That way the shipping could go out smoother.

Me: Then payment shouldnt have been taken until it shipped. And why with one day processing difference is my phone shipping 3 days after the 6/16 orders?

CSR: It will take that long to get all of the 6/16 orders shipped out, only then can we work on the next set of orders. If they were instock and payment was taken before shipment no one would have complained.

Me: Yes, but then the order would have been processed the same day it was taken. And the product possibly shipped out that same day too.

CSR: well thats not the case now. Then she asked if I wanted to cancel my order.

Can anyone say bad day? And I was really nice. The only question I asked was about the 5 day delay and if it would effect me. Then she tried to tell me I ordered on 6/17. When I stated I ordered on the 16th the afore mentioned conversation occured.
 
I would have had my phone today but I was out for an hour and fedex came while I was out. Left a missed delivery slip on my door. Now I hav to wait until Tuesday :(
 
A 6/5 order supposed to ship 6/25.

Normally I wouldn't care about these delays but I am moving which is likely to create havoc at verizon if I should need to change my address on this order. So I called verizon today and the first CSR told me that he had my order by couldn't tell me when it should ship and told me to call Fedex with my order number. Even thogh I knew this wouldn't get me anywhere I did just that and Fedex laughed at me. The next CSR told me that there was a delay but it didnt affect my order and that it was shipped yesterday but they are no longer giving tracking information. I kinda laughed at her and asked for a supervisor. After a wait she told me that her supervisor couldn't help me and I need to call online sales, not customer service. So I did and the last CSR at online sales actually told me about the 5 day delay and I did not have a tracking number yet. So moral of this story is, you need to speak with online sales, not customoer service. The direct number to online sales is 800-711-7773. Hopes this helps.
 
Geez...thats tempting, you can always bust into fedex tonight...lol. Well mine should be shipping from west chester too...just got a text from CSR..."no tracking number as of 2:05pm" on 6/26. Grrr...
That sucks that you don't have a tracking number, in time it will come. don't worry. lol

Did you know it was being delivered today!!!! Man, you should have left a note on the door...not to make you feel worse or anything, but that totally sucks! You should be able to go pick it up since they made one delivery attempt, call the place.

i know, i know..im wondering if this display change for the phone is for real, and if so if we will get the amoled or the sony tft led, or whatever the hell it is...how can you tell the difference i wonder. I just want my phone!!!!

New here, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place...Ordered 2 on June 1...to be picked up June 15.....then told aound June 24......then told ...they STOPPED distribution because of lawsuits with Samsung....Reg. manager tells us to keep the Eris...better battery, blah, blah, blah. Very long story short...Last thing I was told.."sorry for the confusion, but don't no for sure when they would be getting any, but just as soon as the come in, we would be getting them." Time wasted: over ten hours between stores, emails and phone calls.
 
I'm a 6/5'r and was supposed to have my phone shipped out yesterday with Overnight shipping. After talking with a sup last night, I now have a shipping date as late as 7/2 and have 2 day shipping. So I might not get my phone til 7/7! What a bunch of S*it! Atleast according to the boards here the delay only appears to be 1 to 2 days. It is clear the CSR's are not very well informed.
 
Thanks for the update! I haven't received an email like that (yet) and I'm a fellow 6/7'er so for now I'm going to hope and assume that our orders are on track. Let's hope for the best.

Coming out of lurkdom to raise my hand - another 6/7'er here. I have called CS several times in the past three weeks to get updates and am always told that a 6/28 ship date is still on, but lurking on this board means I know better than to believe that.

I called today and was told that I'm still on for 6/28, but could swap out for a Droid X if I wanted to so long as my DInc hadn't already shipped. I'm not gonna lie - I'm considering the swap. :rolleyes:

The CSR did admit that there have been delays across the board and that it's likely my phone won't ship on the 28th, although she couldn't give me any specific dates.
 
My 2nd LG Dare (it was replaced under warranty when the screen suddenly turned to crap on 6/6 when I ordered my Incredible) is now falling apart at the bottom and I get a feeling it doesn't have much life left in it... and then I'm told on friday that my 6/25 ship date is now 6/28... then while I'm still on the phone w/ the CSR, she gets an email across that says there's now an ADDITIONAL 5 DAY DELAY... I'm not sure how much longer I can keep it together here... I've been very patient and polite, but this is just TOO MUCH!!!

The same exact thing happened to me. When I called FedEx, the CSR literally started laughing at me. She asked me how she was supposed to give me any information about a package that FedEx hadn't received for shipping yet.

I told her she was preaching to the choir but that this was what Verizon had told me to do so I was giving it a shot, thinking that the people who do this for a living knew better than I did. Ha!

Welcome to our crazy family! I know hoping for my original shipping date is wishful thinking but I'd still like to think it could happen.... But realistically I think I know that it most likely won't show up till after the 4th of July weekend. Bummer...:(
 
I'm confused....Some sites,. there are rumors it is being discontinued. Others (like here) are saying back ordered.. nothing simple now days.
Wouldn't you think Verz. would clarify considering all the discontent??
