Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

See, the email is confusing to me. I ordered 6/9 with a promised ship date of 6/30. The email says if the ship by date was 6/28 or prior you would experience a delay, so what about us with ship dates after 6/28? That doesn't include me and I got an email. I just don't know what to believe anymore >.<

Ordered: 6/5 in store Upstate NY
Promised ship date: 6/25
Confirmed ship date: 6/30
est delivery: 7/2

The only thing to believe is that if you ordered a HTC Incredible, expect it to be delayed. Ignore everything else.
 
So I didnt get this email everyone else seems to be getting. To me having a ship date of 7/15 that tells me that my order is uneffected and due to ship whenever they feel like it. Or does the fact that all of them are being pushed back mean I will be pushed back and since my ship date is still 2 weeks away I just havent gotten the email yet?

customers with an Incredible Ship Date commitment up and including 6/30 may experience an additional 10 day delay

that's the message that I got.
 
Congratulations to everyone who got their phone/shipping notice/tracking number in the last two days. Very happy for you. I also want to apologise but you all are dying a very slow and painful death in my mind....

Yay for the shipments that went out - and for the deliveries!!! (At least the kitten population should be under control by the time the backorder situation is resolved)

I might not be going home 'sick' but if I was the only one in the office and my phone had been delivered I'd be goin home to get it!

I second that. If your shipping date is later than 6/28 just assume that yours will be late as well. Unfortunately none of us are immune to Verizon's stupidity.
 
so even though I have recieved my shipping notice, I find myself refreshing the fedex tracking page over and over lol..... the obssesion doesn't end!!!!! I suppose it being the next town over doesn't help and it says its been on the truck since 8:30. obviously the guy just hasn't gotten to my house yet!!!
 
Believe it not folks, I think I just stumbled upon the reason for this whole entire mess.

It appears that Chicken Mcnuggets are made with the same ingredient found in Silly Putty, I kid you not. If we can trace the amount of McNuggets ingested by the average CSR at Verizon..I think we might really be on to something.

It as to be something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I swear I'm not gloating - but when you get your phones (or for my fellow supporters, aka - lurkers) do you look at your phone hoping that someone either emails/texts/calls just so you can play more?? Or am I the only one?

So hate when that happens. On anything I am really waiting for I watching it sit at "On FedEx truck for Delivery" for hours and hours. I keep thinking why couldnt my house be the first house in town instead of the last. I never get anything deliverd by FedEx until after 5.

its great/stupid at the same time

I know....it is killing me....it is sitting at the store and praying that the nightmare of them giving it to some else does not happen....lol

Sooooo happy to know I'm not the only one.
As for sending messages - I can't, I didn't get the contacts in the phone yet so I'm at the mercy of my friends (who SUCK today). Lol.
