Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I doubt your phone will ship that late. Others received similar emails and received their phones closer to the original estimated date. Check back a few pages. I ordered on June 12 as well and I expect mine to ship next week, Friday at the latest. Of course, I am an optomist :)

I sure hope that's true. They called me back for some reason to clear up that the original ship date of the 3rd is correct, but that it will be delayed one week from that and they are sending a $25 gift card to make up for the extra delay. I'l l believe it when I see it.
 
Soooo...my phone "departed fedex location" in Memphis TN at 2:00. I live about 3 hours away, but my estimated arrival date isn't til Tuesday 7/6.
Any chance I might get it today? (I know, wishful thinking)
The anticipation is killing me!
I'm usually a patient person, but a month of waiting is just plain evil

I had an expected ship date of 7/8 with delivery of 7/9, so with all the horror stories I figured I had a nice long wait ahead of me.

Well I just received a package to my door and to my excitement it was my Incredible. (Actually 4 incredibles, everyone in the family share plan hadn't upgraded phones since '06 so we decided to treat ourselves).

I apologize to those who have delayed shipment. I'm not exactly sure how this happened.

Got an email from CS ... as follows:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for choosing Verizon Wireless, we appreciate your business.

We have received your order and it has been processed; unfortunately, due to the high demand of the HTC Incredible, your order is still awaiting shipment. Since payment has been taken we can not make any updates at this time. We apologize for the additional wait this may have caused.

Below is our expected shipping schedule for your area.

Orders where payment was taken on 6/13 will ship by 7/12.


There ya go. No warnings of a 7-day, 5-day, 10-day, etc. Just expect the same date as when I ordered.
 
I just got my shipment email!!

Ordered 6/9 about 9pm
Supposed to ship 6/30
Shipped 7/2 from Memphis, TN
Scheduled delivery on 7/6 by 3pm

Picked up from warehouse @ 2:03pm

I did get the shipping delay email and the text message along with the $25 VZW card shipping in two weeks... or later...
 
Glad to see more shipping notices and even some surprise deliveries today. I can barely contain my excitement!! Have fun everyone, and keep em coming Fed Ex!

Actual Ship: 7/2 from Memphis
In transit to Indiana.

I didn't get overnight shipping that I was told I would get.

Edit: Oh and I still haven't gotten an email, I had to call to get my tracking number.
 
I GOT MY INCREDIBLE AND HOLY SHIT IT'S SEXY! Charging it right now. Order 6/8, estimated 6-29 with 2 day shipping. Shipped yesterday with overnight shipping! Glad I complained so much ;)

As a 6/13er, I'm hoping the same. Even though they told me it would ship by the 12th of July, I'm hoping to have it in hand by the end of next week.

I played with the one in the store today for about 45 minutes and damn, it's a cool device. Personally I feel like it smokes the Iphone (overall).
 
I order mine on 6/12th and i still haven't received any updates...all i was told is that it will be shipping on 7/9....i don't know :(:(
