Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

My Dinc is out for delivery!!

Original order in store on 6/12
Original ship date 7/9 (second day shipping)
Taking daughter to college orientation in Tennessee 7/12 - 7/15
(wouldn't get phone til 7/16 after trying to get it shipped to my office)
Ordered from Amazon 7/1 with overnight shipping - estimated delivery 7/7
Canceled Verizon order 7/1
Order from Verizon not received on 7/7 - got overnight shipping credited
Out for delivery - 7/8

I'm the only one in my office today, and my husband and daughter won't be home tonight, should have LOTS of bonding time, except for the dang 8 hour charge!

I ordered my phone on 6/12 and still no confirmation...I am going to die here!!!!!! Please....where is my dinc?!?!!?!?

I paid full retail for my Dinc with Amazon (had to do the same thing with the first one I ordered on Verizon, I've only been a customer since April).
 
Well my mom hates life everytime i bring up the subject of the phone, so looks like i'm not getting it through amazon, and sticking with Verizon lol..

Just go on the Amazon website and go through all the steps. It will ask you for your account number and all other pertinent info. It will then check to see if you are eligible for upgrade. I paid $199 + tax for the phone.

Thanks, I got that far and my mom doesn't want to give me her SS#, so there is no way for them to see if I'm eligible for an upgrade (which i am) so no dice. Guess i'll just have to wait another 20 days for the phone through Verizon. Blah..

Jeeeeeezz! I left work yesterday a little dissapointed that the Dincs weren't flying out to us lonely hostages, so I didn't even come back last night. I come back this morning, and my hopes are renewed:):D:):D Let's get rolling Fed Ex.

I totally agree with this, however Verizon's approach to this solution has been to offer people with unlimited calling plans...an additional 250 minutes of talk time. Which is tantamount to offering a person that is drowning, a drink of water.
 
Christmas came early. I had not received any notification via e-mail yet but, I just got a knock on my door. MY DROID INC HAS ARRIVED!!!

Arrived via FedEx on 7/8
 
How is it all these 6/12 in store orderers (like myself) are already receiving their phones and I am still without a shipping notice? I called CSR and it hasn't even shipped yet. My ship by date is 7/9, but with all the other 6/12'ers already receiving theirs, I thought I might get mine today too.

Heck, I am just in Knoxville. The main FedEx hub is in my state for crying out loud!
 
Just checked status using *611 and low and behold I have a new device pending activation so I guess it finally shipped which means I will soon be done with my joke of a smartphone (BB STORM 2) which has been replaced 8 times in less than a year!

Received: Probably tomorrow?

I live in Tampa, FL. I went to activate my phone and was unable to. I went with a 1 year contract and the morons only charged me for a 2 so there's a price difference on my line so now I have to go into the store where I got the phone so that I can pay the additional fee. It can never go smoothly.
 
Its on the truck!!!!! omg omg omg!. Its supposed to be here before 3. which is when I go into work...so hopefully I'll get it, plug it in, go to work, then come home and play with it! WOOT!
 
has anybody received their dinc a day early? my estimated ship date is 7/9 by 7pm but my tracking info says it is on the truck for delivery from about 10 miles from my house right now? what are the chances i actually get it today?

I also ordered my phone on 6/12 at 10pm. i haven't yet to received any type of confimation on delivery. what options did you pick after dialing *611. i am just wondering if my phone is on the way.

I am crossing my fingers that this happens to me. Still no notification, so I'm going to take a shower becaus he fedex truck usually swings by around 12:30-1:30

Does your tracking info say overnight? If it does, then it will be there the day after it originally shipped. Otherwise, add another day.
