Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I hate when my gadgets are smarter than me :D

I remember the night my friend got her Blackberry Storm. It was acting up and kept deleting her messages before she could read them. She picks up her phone, presses a few buttons and then just screams at it. Right there at the bar.

I said "what's up?", thinking maybe she just got some bad news or something. She replies "My Smartphone is NOT very smart!!" I seriously almost fell off my barstool I was laughing so hard.
 
OMG, VERIZON'S SHIP DATES ARE ACTUALLY GOING BACKWARDS

Yesterday it was shipping 8/10, this morning 8/3 and now it says 8/2. My first one was sent back last week and I was told it would ship 8/5 perhaps all the ship dates will improve now.
 
Mine shipped today(ordered 6/19)! It coming from PA and I live in MD so hopefully I get it tomorrow.

I can finally retire the eris.
 
I saw some 6/21's going out today. Yeah! I do hope mine will be going out tomorrow. I called 611 this morning, and got "main menu" (Drat!). Jussssst to be sure I checked my email for a tracking number...Nothing. (Double Drat!).

Well, I'll try again tomorrow.

Oh, I can't stand the wait!

i think things are really going to pick up for shipping. I am just feeling it.

mine has shipped but I still do not get the 611 message. So don't rely on that. :) I also have not received the email confirmation...
 
I can't believe that 6/21's are going out! I'm hoping my 6/26 order ships MAYBE by a week from today, that way I receive it right before vacation!

I love how almost every post now is about getting their notice, sooo nice!
 
I ordered mine from Amazon on July 3rd. I got it on the 8th. I probably would have gotten it sooner if it hadn't been a holiday weekend. If you are able to cancel your order and order it from Amazon. Plus it was only $149 with an SD card in it.

I hope it's true, too!! I ordered 7/5 with a ship by date of 8/3... I'm currently using a Storm 1, and I have to shake it like an etch-a-sketch to make it work half the time, so a bumped up shipping date would be great :)
 
Giggity! I'm a secondary line on a business account, so they won't talk to me in CS. In lieu of that, I've been calling *611 every hour or so, and just got the "pending activation" message for my 6/21 order. Looks like I might have my phone by the weekend!
 
OMG I think I'm gonna piss in my pants!!!!! My phone as finally come in and is charging as we speak!!!!! I haven't been this excited since my first divorce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL
 
has been about 2 weeks since I first posted. still waiting and waiting, hasn't gotten any easier even with a new baby taking up all my time. How's everyone else doing?
 
I ordered mine June 28 and the CS rep I just talked to looked at what he said was the most up to date shipping date form. He said they are updating the shipping dates daily and for my phone I should expect to see it July 26th, which is what I was told when I ordered it...

either way it doesn't sound like I will get it before the 22nd which is when I go out of town for a week so guess it will be here when I get back.

I will bet you you get it quicker. Other reps are telling customers much quicker ship dates and I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised.
