Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Anyone out there that knows their phone has shipped but the fedex trick still doesn't work?
I finally broke down and emailed CS this morning but haven't received a response yet.
6/19 - it HAS to come today right?

I'm thinking though, i'm going to Wyoming for vacation.. Dad's a big fisherman so we're going to do activities like horseback riding, mountain climbing, hang-gliding, (i wanna go cliff jumping!) you know those kinda things.. I'm thinking I should leave the Incredible at home and take my shit phone with me just in case cause you never know.. Idk
 
Ordered my DInc on 6/20 and just got a call from my Dad it's arrived at home. It got here 5 days before I expected, which is nice. I would be driving home from school to get it, but I have a test in the morning, which sucks.

I Gave too much consideration to skipping the test to go get it.

The only thing that makes me mad is that it was supposed to be shipped to my college address, not my house. I verified this multiple times with Verizon, but they still sent it to my Dad's place. A bit frustrating, but I guess I should just be happy to have it.

And after a night of cramming in preparation for the exam, the phone (and your dad) can be your reward!

Geez, one would sure hope so. Call 611 and talk to a live being, even tho you may experience longer than normal hold times right now, lol.
 
just saw this from one of the verizon ship date boards.

the person said they're quoting a CSR.

"any phone sold after the 6/23 sale date has the new super TFT screen and not the AMOLED screen. "

that is complete Bull Shiit. I re-ordered mine 7/8 and the SKU # has not changed. In order for the screen to change, the SKU has to change.

Mods, these types of posts have to be deleted if they do not post the link, or a new sku
 
not sure how that could have been said yesterday as the post didn't exist until today...
hopefully it's not true though

Haha I didn't actually! Someone said a minute ago that the message was on there so I was expecting it :) But i'm sorry for those who weren't and thought it was real!

No you're totally right! I won't believe anything unless it's on Verizon's website or something. Anyone can write anything on here. I'm still expecting mine to have the AMOLED.. Can they really test and implement and build it with the TFT that fast? I don't think so..

and they would have to change the internal circuitry as well. Fact of the matter is, the SKU is no different and hasn't changed since they started offering the 2gig card.

So this is just proving your point, that we're all getting AMOLED right? (As far as we know..) I don't think i'll mind either way, the screen isn't what sold me on the phone.. Guess I just forgot that the phone was backordered since May haha
 
So....after never getting a confirmation email or anything like that...my DInc has finally shipped! I got the confirmation email, the FedEx tracking says it was picked up, and on its way! Sadly, with the weekend in there, I won't get it until Monday, but the end is in sight!

Looks like things are shipping about five days early! Great news for all those in the June 22-30 range!!!
