Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I think you have to pay extra for Saturday delivery. Standard 2-day deliveries are Mon-Fri. Mine is 2-day, shipped 7/22, and will arrive 7/26 as well. Monday is a great day! Hold tight!
 
Nice... the latest orders we saw on the 22nd were from 7\9, today it was 7\15 i believe... hoping to hear word on mine (7\19) early next week.
 
No doubt! Sounds like they are finally catching up --and in a hurry! My ship-by was 8/10 and then a couple days later the online date was 8/3... where it has stayed. I think from now on they are going to be coming like crazy.

Biggest disappointment ever, went to verizon.com to check my order status. Typed in my order number and it finally gave me a tracking number! Checked the tracking number and saw it was delivered in Talahasee, FL already (I'm in CT). Went back and looked and I typed the last digit of the order number 1 less than mine (i.e. mine ended in 4, I typed a 3). Same order date (7/16) and everything as mine, already shipped and delivered, yet I still have nothing :mad:

On the phone with CS at this moment as I type this, the tracking number given to me is not coming up as valid in their system but yet they show my phone being shipped on 7/22.
The CS rep is contacting Fedex and has me on hold...I bet they lost my phone.

for some reason since I work p/t for the USPS they have sent my phone thru them, but they still cant track it by the tracking number
They now have a supervisor helping look into the problem.

It's official...they have lost my phone...they have no clue as to where my phone is...they are opening a case file and will follow up on it next week to see if the phone gets delivered

All employees of USPS get their equipment shipped via USPS. They have a horrible tracking system.

I order from Amazon all the time and I'm too cheap to pay extra for express delivery so everything gets shipped via USPS. The last shipment took 11 days coming from Arizona to New York. They've never lost anything being sent to me, it just takes a long time to get to my doorstep. What your experiencing isn't unusual.
 
Ok, I have a question...

What did all of your FedEx tracking info say with regards to the weight of the parcel?

Let me know how many phones you ordered and list the lbs/kg please!

Ordered: In-store 7/12
Shipping Confirmation: 7/23
Estimated delivery: 7/27
When I actually get it: When I move to Madison in a week. It's being held there for me.

Heelo everyone!!! Hows everyone holding up? I know others have said it but it is sooooo worth the wait, that is at least something. Plus you guys/gals' wait times are the shortest since 2nd week of release.

I bet you it gets delivered in a few days. The USPS tracking never works. Its very hard for things to get lost, eventually things get sorted and delivered. Perhaps you will get two phones out of this.

I didn't get it Saturday. So much for free 2 day shipping Verizon. Hopefully I'll get it Monday if Verizon and/or FedEx doesn't @#% up and send it to the wrong place like last time.

The phone was supposedly picked up 45 minutes from my house in PA, but is now in Newark NJ. WTF? I'm thinking it's headed to NY like my last phone even though the destination states my hometown.

fedex 2 day never delivers on Saturday unless it is specifically paid for which verizon does not do. Check your shipment detail, its 2 day standard overnight, so your second business day is tomorrow. Your package is in Newark because that is the processing HUB in the northeast. It then goes out to the local center and then out for delivery tomorrow morning. My phone also originated from PA the same days as yours and is also in Newark. Tomorrow morning it will be in Stamford and then out for delivery. There are over 500 phones on that shipment.

You may have missed my earlier post, but I don't think that weekends are "shipping days" unless you pay extra and specify a Saturday delivery. Overnight and 2-day shipping is only guaranteed Mon-Fri. Saturdays, unfortunately, do not count. Otherwise, you and I would both have our phones charged up and ready to go right now. I am sorry about the weird transit pattern of your shipment. I hope that it gets to YOUR house (as opposed to someone else's) tomorrow as promised. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
