Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

The date that was posted on the web site the day you ordered it is the actual promised ship-by date. The 2-3 days in the email you received is an automated notice for every order.
 
I ordered it on 4/28 at 4:10 pm. And received it on 4/29 (when it came out) at 1:00 pm. I was not suppose to receive it till 4/30 because I ordered it after 4:00 pm local time, but whatever. HTC INCREDIBLE RULES!!!!

Verizon uses multiple warehouses to distribute from, so the date someone else's order ships is irrelevant unless it was ordered through the same warehouse.
 
Just out of curiosity does anyone have a list of the warehouses and what region each one covers? I googled but didn't find anything helpful.

thanks for the clarification think it was at 5/21 on the 9th so looks like in a lil over a week or so. oh well. got to play with my friends mom(her phone that is) and it is sooo sick. got my incredible fix so i should be good untill mine comes in haha
 
Washington, DC. Ordered mine 5/7, received 5/11. At the time of order, the website said "Will ship by 5/21".

So don't trust that "Will ship by" date, just get it!

Not true, all the Incredibles ship from one warehouse. Not sure where it is, but thats what the VZW guy told me yesterday.

I was told all orders placed on the 8th should be shipped by the 14th. I got mine on the 13th. If you don't get a shipping notification today, I would call to see what's going on.

It seems the VZW "will ship by" date does not correspond to Verizon's actual shipping schedule because I ordered on the 8th and VZW said it will ship by the 29th but a customer rep told me the 14th. :rolleyes:

I also ordered on the 8th, but my status still shows as being processed :(
Will I get an email saying when it has been shipped or do I have to check the Verizon status page to find that out?

You will get an email saying it has shipped with access to tracking information. The Verizon order status page will probably just update to say that your order has been processed and that you will receive it soon.

^same. I don't believe you can check your order status online if you ordered in-store. I could be wrong though thats just what the rep told me!
 
Spoke to a Verizon Business Account manager on 5/7 who claimed he had some units available. Ordered on 5/12 and told to expect it 1-2 days later.

Got an email today that it will arrive 5/28....

Not too happy but serves me right for not remembering that the motto of sales:
Over-promise and under-deliver..
 
Ordered mine on the 8th via phone, was told that it was a good thing that I called it in and that I'd get mine on the 12th; just received all three (Incredibles) today.

Also ordered mine the 9th, really frustrated that I haven't gotten a shipping notification yet after seeing other people that ordered on the 9th already have theirs.
 
I ordered mine on the 10th and the Verizon status page just now changed from being in process to now saying "Processed. You will receive your order in 2-3 business days."

Not sure if this is good news or what?! I'm hoping to get it really soon...I'm not sure if the page is real time or not. Based on what everyone else is saying I'm expecting that it already is en route.
