Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

If your comfortable enough you can call fed ex and leave a clearance to leave the package on your door step. They'll have you write a short note giving the driver permission,sign it and post it on your door. Of course, you only want to do this if you think your neighborhood is safe enough as this removes them and verizon from being held liable should someone come swipe it off your porch/stoop.
 
Order Status on the web has been changed. Instead of a date it now reads:

Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email.
 
I just checked my husband's email and our phones were shipped!! They will be here on the 25th. We ordered on the 9th. Good luck everyone!! :)

So it seems like orders from the 9th and 10th are now shipping...

My order was on the 12th... shipping notice for me on Monday or Tuesday, hopefully. :confused:

Mine has switched to that as well. Possibly from the result of my nerd rage over losing a day off :P

If only...haha! People must have kept complaining about the wording

Ordered mine on 5/19 at the Store. Located in San Diego. Two days and feels like I am walking on pins. Can't wait to get my phone already...:eek:
 
YES! good to hear people who ordered on 5/9-10 are having theres shipped out and that NE states are having good luck! ordered on 5/9 in maine hopefully monday
 
Just found out my local BB has them in stock. Before I placed my order I called VW to verify that I could cancel my order and was told there was no way they could. I was told that once it's been placed there's no way to stop or cancel it. She suggested that I refuse the shipment once it ships. She also said there would be no restock involved. That I'm leary of.

She also mentioned that since I have an order in the system, that when I went to BB to get the phone they would see that and not be able to give me the 2 year pricing. I would have to buy it outright and would be reimbursed the difference once the other phone was returned. I want this phone but not bad enough to jump through all these hoops.

Does any of these statements sound legit? I doubt it's impossible to cancel an order. Any thoughts?

Haven't heard an answer on this yet. Has anyone that received shipping info checked the website? How quickly, if at all, is the website reflecting shipping?

Thats strange, my order processed but when I called and complained about not having anyone to receive the package at my location (long story, check my first post a few pages back for it). VZ Offered to cancel my order, recieve a full refund and no restock fee. Its weird that I hear CSR telling people it's Impossible.
 
Live in NYC. Ordered 5/10. Have not received shipping information yet. Hope this changes based on some recent posts.

Yep. That's what mine says also. They probably got a bunch of complaints about the 2-3 business day statement.

BTW, I emailed VZW asking about my specific order number and they replied.....

Northeast area, (I'm in Maryland)

Orders where payment was taken on 5/13 will ship by 6/1

That's meaningless info (other than an outside date). That's just the date that the website had posted when you ordered on 5/13..

I mailed them as well for more detailed information, but everyone seems to just get a reply with a copy + pasted message, my friend ordered his on the 12th and already has it. How? I have no clue!

He ordered his the same way as I, online.
 
Everyone who is getting tracking, where are you ordering from?

I am in Vegas, ordered the 9th and haven't heard yet... I am getting my hopes up and keep checking my e-mail... fingers crossed for Monday!
