Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

anyone notice the TV commercials for The Incredible seem to have picked up over the last day. Hoping that Verizon is catching up on orders so they are advertising more.
 
Hey does anyone know where the main warehouse is when Verizon sends out their phone for the western united states? Have they been slower than the mid and eastern? I have been seeing Ontario California a lot, and that's where I live! So I am hoping that once it ships, it will be at my door real fast.

My order was 5/15.

I bought the Seidio Innocase II in sapphire blue, and I bought the 1750 Seidio battery. Those two shipped already, so I'm hoping it all comes at the same time..

All I need is the Steinheil Crystal Clear when it's available again.

This whole waiting game sucks, I wished I would have checked more best buys around. :mad: oh well..
 
I ordered mine on 5/20 with a CSR at 2pm. I was told that it should ship by 6/4. A second call to CSR and the date changed to 6/10. I'm not sure if I want to call a third time.

I ordered on 5/20 as well. The website said "ship by 6/10" at the time. So I'm not sure why the CSR told you otherwise.

I have been noticing that CSR's are not sure of much when it comes to the ship dates of these phones.

Yea, I was told it'd be shipped "around the 11th" when I ordered it in-store on the 22nd, but they didn't really seem to actually know, kinda just read it off the website. :p
 
I was also told mine would ship around June 11th. I purchased it @ a corporate store on May 21. idk what it is but I just keep finding more stuff to do to my incredible when I receive it. Also I amazed at the amount of apps available. Everyday is one step closer till I get it though. Try to stay positive everyone as you wait. :D

Shipped 5/28: from Ontario, CA to Sunnyvale, CA
ETA: 6/1

FINALLY! Im so EXCITED! Now I can stop replying to this thread and move on to other ones. LOL
 
Ordered ours (one for DH, one for me) on 5/15 afternoon at local Verizon store.

Got our shipment confirmation Friday (5/28) around 2:00PM saying it's being shipped overnight, should arrive Tuesday, June 1 before 3:00PM. Yeah!

I hope it gets here before 2:00 - nobody will be home afterwords! Anyone have any luck with leaving a signed note on the door and FedEx leaving it? (just in case)
 
Order Date: 5-11
Received: 5-26 although it was in my leasing office since the 25th. I called Verizon CSR on the 25th to 'check-up' and they told me that FedEx website said it was delivered BUT she told me that it wasnt suppose to ship out till atleast the 8th of June. Told me some BS about how FedEx and Verizon arent on the same page when it comes to deliveries.
I did not get a shipping notice because when I ordered my phone (in-store) she typed my email wrong, and I changed it too late for me to receive the notice. But well worth the wait. Awesome phone.
 
I guess I have no problem being patient for the phone to come. Due to the fact that they gave me a super early upgrade..original upgrade is in October :D
 
I originally said earlier in the thread I placed the order in-store on 5/13. I since checked the receipt and realized it was 5/15. No idea how I screwed that up.

After not receiving any ship notice I decided to give the FedEx Reference # trick a try and found that my order shipped today!

Signed note worked like a charm for me. He came the only 20 minutes of the day that I was gone. lol All I put on it was - Fedex, Okay to leave package at the door. Thanks, signature.

Depends on the driver and where you live, but I would assume that they don't want to be bothered with a second delivery attempt. ;)
 
Ordered 5/14 and using the reference number search, saw that my package was at Memphis on 5/27. Then in Chicago (destination) on 5/28!

Now back in Memphis on 5/29!

All these delivery dates are nonsense. There just reading them off the computer. Trust me guys, as soon as they arrive in the warehouse, there shipping them out to everyone. There just covering there tails just in case. But if you look back on the Internet, Verizon only had about 250,000 of these phones ready to go. So I'm sure they under estimated the amount they would sell, and this time probably gave an insane order number to HTC. Once they get one big initial shipment, it'll give them time to keep making more and pump them out. Screen shortage sounds like BS to me, the desire is all over Europe, and we heard of no shortage out there. I think it was a simple case of Verizon not ordering enough phones for the demand.
 
Did anyone get an email confirming their order after they ordered their Incredible online? I ordered mine through CSR and I haven't gotten any kind of email notification that I charged a $300 phone to my account.

Or did you get your first email from Verizon about the Inc once it had shipped?

I ordered mine through a CSR and I did not get any email confirmation, and I won't get one when the phone is getting shipped out either. The CSR did not check the box to send email notification to me. Guess I have to call.

i got an email right away after i ordered my DInc from the vzw website which showed me my receipt and they did charge me for the phone but the service plan wont start until i activate it
 
A question for those of you who placed an order at a Verizon store.... were you told you would receive a shipping confirmation via email or..... that you would need to call the store close to the stated ship date?
