Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I don't know about ship notifications on weekends, but I'm pretty sure packages move on those days, even if the tracking info remains stagnant till Monday. In any event, based on what I have seen here over the past few weeks, Wed. sounds realistic, but next week at some point for sure....

yea there are supposed to be 2 new droids launching in the next month or so, droid 2 and droid X (moto xtreme) pics have just been posted of both in the last 24 hrs

Are they by Motorola or HTC though? IMO Motorola starts off great but after about a year the phone is begging for me to throw it out the window at the fedex guy (who will probably be delivering the new class of droids by then)

Just sayin....

Hey, as far as the next generations are concerned, I figure I'll take the Dinc when it gets here, and if the new models come out within my 30-day grace period (and do not require a backorder wait) then I'll swap.

Otherwise, this Dinc gets more amazing in my mind the longer I have to wait for it. Hell, by the time I finally get it it'll be capable of giving a massage with a happy ending.

Thanks! Note to Verizon...a real promotion would have been to cut $20-50 off the phone or at least give a 4gb card instead of 2 pretty much useless 2gb cards. Oh well. I've got my phone and it seems to be working well with the 8gb class 6 card I put in it.

Again, hang in there guys and gals! IMHO this phone is worth the wait. (I have been waiting about 6 months since I first heard rumors of this phone.)

I've been reading posts on here since the day I ordered my Incredible. Figured I would join and try to soothe my frustration and obsession with the incredible.

I ordered online on June 4th. I survived my first week. My ship by date is June 23rd. I am so ready to dump my iphone :(

Everytime my iphone makes an email notifcation sound my heart skips a beat. And even though I know it has not shipped, every white van or truck that goes by our house makes my heart skip a beat as well.

Is it wrong to have a brief moment of hatred for those who received their shipping notification? I like them again very quickly as I realize it's my own damn laziness that prevented me from having a phone sooner but still...

Hey somo - you're 5/26 with me, right? I got nothing either. After a flurry of 3 or so posts from other 5/26ers, the thread went silent again on news.

That said, join me in sending condolences to Mastermind, who I believe is the elder of our group, having ordered on 5/24 and still has not received word....
 
I just had this random thought.....supposed to be going away on the 27th (only overnight) but if my phone ships early as has been the trend I wonder how upset the quasi-bf I'm going with will get when I'm playing with my phone instead of other things....... :eek:
