Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ive been watching Verizons site for the past week or so and the ship by date keeps going up. The past first few days I watched it the date when up by one day. Now the date is going out almost a week at a time. What do you think the issue could be? Not enough to meet the demand?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they are doing it so they can scare away the maximum number of potential customers in the least amount of time.

Hello all! I just wanted to add to the posts here. I originally pre ordered my DInc. and got it on 4/28. Issues had me call for a new one. I (re)ordered mine on 5/23 received it on 6/8. I was told it wouldn't be shipped til the 10th. This was on the phone with Verizon. I live in NJ.

Love the phone..hopefully there are no more issues!

Total nonsense. They need to give you the "ship by" date posted in Infomanager.

Today was my "ship by" date. I haven't heard of anyone else getting their phone AFTER their stated "ship by" date... grrr!!

You need to call and check your order. There's something wrong with it. Your phone should have shipped.

The same reason I keep stopping by - misery loves company, strength in numbers, whatever cliche you want to mine. I need more early-middle Juners to join in so we can commiserate together. And we can celebrate the victories of those who came before us. (This is getting sad.)

I guess after today I can REALLY start hounding them.

Damn, you're lucky. What region are you in? I just called customer service and they said it hadn't shipped yet and it wouldn't be updated until Monday. sigh.

Daaaammmn sounds like you got lucky. 5/27 here too, but no notice.

You're definitely ahead of schedule considering the 5/25'ers still waiting. I don't expect an email until Monday, but now I wouldn't be surprised if I have to wait until Tue, Wed at the latest.

Have them investigate. All orders that had payment taken on May 23rd have shipped. Or perhaps they didn't complete your order on the 23rd.

I was a 5/23 online and got mine on 6/10. I never called or hassled verizon and just stuck with my 2 day shipping. So I was surprised to notice that with my Incredible there was a 2 GB microSD card and a USB microSD reader in separate packaging. When I went to put in my 16 GB microSD I realized there was a 2 GB one already installed in the phone as well. Verizon gave me 2 x 2 GB microSD cards and a reader. I'm not positive but to my knowledge we weren't supposed to get a card. Did anyone else get this?
