Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I have been staring at 2 sets of screen protecters (Zagg invisable shield and Steinheil Crystal clear)for 2 weeks and still don't have a phone. Man this is killing me.

Ordered 5/21 order got canceled from a mall kisok Corp store that said they could get it in 3 days (wrong) they said they left the original order as is. It was not until I saw my credit card statement that the phone cost was refunded that I knew I had to reorder.

Second order 6/3
ship by date 6/24

So I have been waiting over a month!!
 
Talked to a nice lady CS rep on the phone today. My promise date is 6/22 (today) and it HAS NOT shipped out.

The verizon store I ordered it from did not attach my email to my order, so I will not be recieving a tracking number which is total BS because my email is right on my account, I don't see what the problem is.

The CS lady said she would send me a text with the tracking order when my phone shipped. It's a nice thought/gesture, but I'm not gonna hold my breath...


Verizon you have FAILED me!!!

Promised Ship Date: 6/22 (Today)
No shipment sent out.

Verizon, DON'T MAKE PROMISES YOU CAN'T KEEP!

I honestly don't blame you for not believing it. Frankly, I'll believe it more when I actually have the phone in hand. I live in southern/central wa state. I ordered my phone over the phone on 6/11, part of the 30 day worry free guarantee. I was waiting until apply anounced the iphone, and the 11th was a friday which was payday. I was charged that day for my device. The email is legit, I'm looking at the tracking number and it requires a signature, and the package weighs 2 lbs, or .9 kg, which i figure is about right.

I call VZW and asked why the delay? Answer: and I quote "these phones are hard to make"!!!! Are you effin' kidding me. New est ship date of 7/8. I'm Dying!!!
 
A 6/1 order here and still no email. I called verizon today and they said it will be another 1-3 weeks! Not a happy camper. I could wait the 3 weeks that I was told it could take but another 3... If amazon or ebay pulled this garbage people would be outraged... But I have little recourse when my cell company takes me to the cleaners. There better be some BIG discounts coming my way or me and my 9 lines will end up iphone users instead. I didn't drop $2000+ to be put on the back burner for 2 months.

My shipping date is one day later than what they old you 7/9 and I ordered it on 6/12.. This is so annoying. Its like dont tell me the phone is hard to make... :eek:
 
purchased 5/29 on line, order processed 5/31
promised shipped date: 6/21
actual ship date: 6/22
did not get fedex # until i called and asked for it, even though email was correct on account.

Well, i'm 6/3 order (and process) date. I have my pink case. The SGP Crystal Clears are on the way, as are the two spare batteries and a charger.

WANT MY PHONE! WAAAAH

I'm honestly still pretty shocked. Probably will be for a week or so. I was ready to wait 2-3 more weeks, which would have sucked, but it might be here in 2 days. I hope all ya'll are getting your phones as a suprise this week, too!!

6/2er and still no shipping confirmation - the promise date is tomorrow, 6/23.

why can't verizon be on the same page, tell the truth to customer and just go with flow? i hate them!
 
Like a crack whore I came home from dinner and immediately checked our happy little asylum here. I'm thinking I may not have my phone by the weekend at this rate which makes BabyBlues very very sad. :(

Are you sure that you didn't have another one of the stupid CSR's that we have encountered.....we've seen a couple people post here where the CSR was quoting the 'ship by' date for orders placed the day you call rather than actually looking at your order. Just a thought
 
I am in no mood not to get my phone tomorrow or thursday. verizon will hear my mouth from new jersey.... :mad:

i had a horrible day at work, some lady SCREAMED at me because something was not in stock and when I said i was sorry, she said "Well you should be" Let's all take a second and gravitate our DINC frustration and anger towards this bi*ch and hope karma takes over.

called today, canceled order. drove 2 hours to another best buy because mine here in town didnt have it. got my phone today. no way i was going to wait much longer.
 
Ordered on 6/1 told it would ship buy 6/22 Prepaid for the phone already called verizon today only to get told it would ship with in 3 weeks . .. . . . . ATT and iphone 4 looks real good right now F**K Verizon im tired of getting lied to
 
Backstory: I'm really hoping to complete the transition from my 5-year-old POS Treo 650 to the DInc (an actual smartphone) before I leave for vacation early on 7/9.

I really tried to be civil to the CSR, and by & large I was. But she couldn't tell me anything about my 6/9 order, saying "Our system doesn't have info on orders before 6/11". She said 6/11 orders would be shipping on 7/9, so my 6/9 order would probably ship a couple of days earlier. Won't do me any good if it arrives on 7/9. I thought it preposterous that they'd have accurate info about newer orders and nothing about older ones, but that's all she had.

She told me there'd be nothing more anyone at VZW could tell me until the order-shipment email went out. Fuming, I calmly told her I was frustrated, let her know that I shouldn't take it out on her, and I came back here. Glad I did, because of nickreich's post which restored some hope that my phone will still ship in June.

Successive breaths...must remember to take successive breaths.
