Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

i will not be able to sleep throw the night i will be up in the morning at crack of the sun in my front yard and be at the door

Me either. I asked my husband if he would come home for lunch so I can take a shower. He said no. Looks like I'll be getting up at 6 and showering before he leaves.

I have to leave at 4:30 tomorrow afternoon so I asked if he'd come home early so someone would be here if I don't have it yet. No to that too.

He just doesn't understand.

So this is my first post but I have been reading this day and night for about a week now. I guess the Verizon Gods Love me because I ordered it over the phone on 6.11 with an estimated ship date of july 9th but I got my email notice yesterday and it went out today and will be here tomorrow 15 days early tracked through fed ex and all I'm in upstate new york I dont know how it happened but i like it I hope the rest of you get your phones asap I CANT WAITTT

6/2 here and when i called CSR she said nothing yet but took a secondary email address from me just in case and told me that she would personally call me if it didn't ship before she got off work tonight so that we could work out compensation for my extended wait. So i waited, 7 oclock rolls around and my phone rings, it's her and she asks me how i'm doing, i say worse now that she's calling, cause that means no shipped phone for me. She laughed, (in a good, friendly way, or else i would have put voodoo hex on her) She said she would call me first thing when she got into work tomorrow either with shipping info or to discuss what verizon was willing to do for me bill wise.
All in all best CSR i have dealt with. There out there, amazingly i feel better now:D:D

My mom suggested having the dog watch the door.

But the problem with that is she doesn't have opposable thumbs and she just wants to be rubbed.

Hopefully the FedEX guy comes early like he did last time.

Well, I'm in good company for a protracted wait I guess. Ordered my Incredible on 6/17 and the rep actually pushed the ship date back twice while was on the phone ordering it...first he said ship date of 7/19 but by the end of the call he said 7/22 at the earliest. I certainly can't say I didn't know what I was getting into with the wait.

Unfortunately, at my age I need all the time I can get with the thing just to figure it out. My current phone is an LG Chocolate which I thought 2 years ago was Star Wars futuristic, hell, it had a touch wheel! Damned thing never worked right but I stuck with it. Now with...apps, snapdragons and touchscreens, I'm going from a "crap can" to a Porsche and dang it, I need time with the manual, so hurry the heck up Verizon!!!!!

I have a process date of 6/17 and I was told shipping date no later than 7/15...
 
The Incredible is not being discontinued. You cannot cancel your order; you have to refuse the shipment and pay the $35 restocking fee before you can place an order for another phone.

In other news: Since the FedEx website tracking is broken, I added a new contact in my phone. 800-463-3339w[tracking number]. When I call, I say "track a package" and then hit send again.

Husband is ready to commit me. I think he's glad this part of the madness is over tomorrow.

my promise date when i ordered it was the 17th, but apparently it got pushed back a couple days

I thought it was gonna be a day late, however there was a notice on fedex's site that the tracking updates were slow, so when I saw that I checked outside my door and saw the fexdex guy was already here. Thank god I live in an apartment complex and they took it to the front office.

I talked to a CS rep on the phone and was asking about my 6/2 order. Still no shipment and she said that they were running a day behind. I tried to get her to credit me my $35 if i choose to return the Inc and get a Droid X. She said that she would make a note of it, but can't promise anything. I was going to say "like the Ship by the 23rd promise?" but i didnt..
 
Well my fellow hostages - seems like I missed quite a bit tonight. Mother F*ing Verizon......I will be calling tomorrow, numerous times until I get a tracking number OR until they give me a reduction on my bill. Their coverage is great, their handling of this so far SUCKS! That is all.
 
There seems to be a big discrepancy b/w the CSR and the warehouse stock availability. CSR is pretty much given a list of estimated ship date, and usually literate according to that info vs the actual shipment from the warehouse. The CSR that i spoke to told me this over the phone, was very kind enough to email the warehouse employee to find about the delay/status of the Dinc. Previous conversation i had with different reps were pretty much clueless, and kept low balling me with iffy est. shipping dates. My suggestion, keep harassing them, demand your rights as a customer, someone's bound to give you a correct ship date of your Dinc!!!!
 
hi, I ordered mine from the store on the 10th of june. I have not recieved an email yet or anything about shipping. Does this mean i can cancel my order? At least with amazon, you can cancel your order before it is shipped, but once it ships your screwed. I don't want to pay this 35$ restocking fee for cancelling.. how am I supposed to pay a restocking fee for an item that wasn't in stock in the 1st place????

I want to cancel to preorder a droid x btw

As far as I know Verizon will not cancel an order. They ship it and you have to refuse delivery. It gets shipped back to Verizon and they charge you the $35. Haven't heard anyone getting to just cancel.
