Help Dead forever?

After 8 days my phone seems to have been subjected to pocket damage. I've tried to reboot the factory settings ( vol up, power on plus home) but still won't power on. Screen appears undamaged but the camera lens on the back has a small dent. Is this it for my galaxy s 2?

I believe the CPU is under or about the camera. I hope its something trivial and not physical damage to this.

Take the battery out completely, leave it for a minute or so. Put the battery back in and plug the phone into the mains charger. Does the battery charging display (ie a picture of a battery with some charge and 5 alternately illuminated dots) appear at all?

If not, there is a charging problem. This may not be the only problem but with no battery charge, the phone won't boot.

If the battery charging display does appear but still nothing happens when you try to turn it on, it looks like it's off to be repaired .
