Help Dead Galaxy S3...

My galaxy S3 Died suddenly back in March. It was the international version but I live in the US, after back and forth between samsung UK and US I was able to send it in for evaluation here in the US. Samsung took 2 weeks to tell me that it's a hardware related issue and that they don't have the components to repair it. Has anyone been through a similar situation and if so could you please advise as too what my next step should be. :'(

BTW: phone was not rooted and had latest firmware. Purchased from expansys.

If they don't have the parts to repair, I would get them to Replace the phone. International versions have a 2 year Warranty. You may need to deal with them instead of the States.

Yeah where did you buy it from? The European Union has 2year warranty on electronic goods but i suppose it depends where it was bought. Anyway it hasnt been a year so Samsung should definately replace it.
What firmware was it on when it happened?

Purchased from expansys.

Is that a US store? Youll probably only have the standard 1 year warranty but still, if the phone died from Sudden Death Syndrome or anything you didnt cause then its Samsungs problem (or the store). Dont give up!
